Fits Saiet BASIC, Pronto Max, and SCUDOtre+ phones; replaces OEM battery CS-JTP127SL.
3.7V, 1200mAh cell delivers 4.44Wh — matches original capacity for full daily runtime on this device.
Connector seats flush into the stock slot with no modification; locking tab engages on both sides.
We tested the BMS on a full discharge cycle; fuel gauge IC accepted the new cell without lockout.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Saiet BASIC / Pronto Max / SCUDOtre+ — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 1200mAh Li-ion cell for the Saiet BASIC, Pronto Max, and SCUDOtre+ mobile phones. It replaces the original battery when capacity has faded or the cell no longer holds a charge. Physical dimensions are 53.00 × 33.90 × 5.70mm — confirm these against your existing cell before ordering.

  • BASIC, Pronto Max, and SCUDOtre+ compatibility: These three models share the same cell footprint, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail, which is why one part number covers all three. The BMS handshake and thermistor line are consistent across the range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full discharge-charge sequences and monitored BMS cutoff behaviour at both ends of the voltage curve. The protection circuit responded correctly at low-voltage lockout and at charge termination — no anomalous cutoffs mid-cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This allows the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Saiet BASIC after a cell swap

This is a voltage cliff problem, not a capacity problem. When the modem transmits or the screen brightness spikes, current draw pulls cell voltage down sharply. If the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old degraded cell's curve, it reads 25% but the new cell's actual terminal voltage has already dropped below the system cutoff threshold — around 3.2V under load. The phone shuts down as a protective response, not because the cell is faulty. Run one full discharge to 3.0V under normal use, then charge to 100% without interruption — this resets the coulomb counter baseline.

Phone not powering on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage, and if the cell voltage has dropped below 2.5V, the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent damage. The phone will show nothing — no charging indicator, no boot screen. Connect the phone to a wall charger, not a USB port, and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing any buttons. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell to lift voltage above the BMS re-enable threshold, which is typically around 2.9–3.0V. Once the charging indicator appears, the BMS has re-initialised and normal charging can proceed.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Saiet BASIC shows the battery percentage jumping around erratically after I installed the new cell — is something wrong with it?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC in the phone is still running on the calibration data it built for the old degraded battery, so it misreads the new cell's state of charge. Run one complete discharge — use the phone normally until it shuts itself off — then charge it to 100% in a single uninterrupted session. After that cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell's discharge curve and the percentage readout stabilises.

Fast charging stopped working on my Saiet after I swapped the battery — it only charges slowly now.

This is common on the first cycle after a cell replacement. The phone's charge IC negotiates current delivery based on BMS feedback, and on a fresh cell it defaults to a conservative charge rate until it has completed one full cycle and confirmed cell behaviour. Charge the phone to 100% and discharge it fully once without interrupting the charge session. After that initial cycle, the charge IC typically accepts the higher current profile and fast charging resumes.

The phone feels warm near the battery while charging — is this a fault with the new cell?

Warmth during the first few charge cycles on a new high-impedance cell is expected. A fresh Li-ion cell has slightly higher internal resistance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates more energy as heat until resistance drops after a few cycles. If the phone is too hot to hold comfortably, stop charging and check that the charging port and cable are clean and making solid contact. Normal warmth — not hot — during charging on cycles one through three is not a fault.
