Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (EB-BG928ABE)
This is a 3000mAh, 3.85V lithium-polymer cell built to replace the original EB-BG928ABE battery in the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+. It fits the SM-G9287, SM-G9287C, and related S6 Edge Plus variants. Capacity and voltage match the OEM specification exactly.
- S6 Edge+ platform fit: The SM-G9287 series shares a single battery bay geometry, flex connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol across all regional variants. One cell covers the full SM-G928 lineup without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell in an SM-G928F under screen-on load with LTE active. The BMS accepted the charge handshake on first cycle, held voltage above 3.6V through discharge, and tripped the low-voltage cutoff cleanly at the correct threshold.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-charge cycle at standard current. The fuel gauge IC on the S6 Edge+ is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one complete cycle at slow rate lets it remap against the new cell before high-current charging begins.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the S6 Edge+ after a cell swap
This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve of the old, degraded cell. When the new cell hits a voltage cliff under modem or display load, the phone interprets that voltage drop as a critical low and cuts power — even though the percentage shown was 25%. The IC's coulomb counter needs a full reference cycle to build an accurate state-of-charge map for the new cell. Run one complete discharge to 1% followed by a full charge without interruption, and the shutdowns stop.
USB fast charge not activating on the first cycle after replacement
On the first charge after a cell swap, the charge IC on the S6 Edge+ can decline the fast-charge handshake if the new cell's internal impedance reads outside the expected range for the old, worn cell it replaced. This is a one-cycle behaviour — the charge IC re-evaluates cell impedance each session. Plug in with the standard Samsung charger, let the first cycle complete fully at standard rate, and fast charging re-engages automatically on the next charge session without any settings change.

Frequently Asked Questions
My S6 Edge+ keeps shutting off around 25% after I put in the new battery — is something wrong with the cell?
Nothing is wrong with the cell. The fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it mapped to your old, degraded battery. When the new cell's voltage dips under screen or modem load, the IC sees that as a critical threshold and cuts power early. Run one full discharge to 1% and charge to 100% without interruption — the coulomb counter resets its reference curve and the early shutdowns stop.
The phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges after replacement — should I be concerned?
Mild warmth on the first two or three charge cycles is normal. A new cell starts with higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC pushes slightly more voltage to maintain the target current rate, which generates more heat than usual. The impedance drops as the cell conditions, and the warmth levels off. If the back of the phone gets hot enough to be uncomfortable after three cycles, check that the charger output is within Samsung's rated spec — use a charger rated at 5V/2A or the original Samsung adaptive unit.
My S6 Edge+ won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months before I installed it — is the cell dead?
The cell is almost certainly not dead — it is in BMS lockout. Lithium-polymer cells that self-discharge below roughly 2.5V per cell trigger a protective cutoff that prevents the phone from powering on normally. Plug the phone into a Samsung-rated charger and leave it connected for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC will trickle current into the cell to bring it above the lockout threshold, after which the BMS re-initialises and the phone boots. If the charge LED does not light within 10 minutes, try a different cable — a resistive cable can prevent trickle charge from initiating.
