Fits Seecode S30 smartphone; replaces original 3.7V lithium-ion cell with CS-DEP510SL part number.
3.7V at 900mAh delivers the original energy capacity; phone will no longer shut down prematurely under modem load.
Connector orientation matches OEM flat contact layout; no locking tab — slides into the original slot without modification.
We bench tested this cell in the S30 power-down sequence at 20% SOC; BMS held voltage steady under screen and radio draw without early cutoff.
On first charge after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — the fuel gauge IC must recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before accepting high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Seecode S30 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This 3.7V, 900mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Seecode S30 smartphone. It fits the S30's battery bay directly and restores power to devices where the original cell has degraded or failed. Capacity is 900mAh (3.33Wh) — matching the S30's stock specification.

  • S30 platform fit: The S30 uses a compact 53.00 × 34.00 × 4.30mm cell format with a 3.7V nominal rail. This replacement matches those physical and electrical requirements, so the connector seats correctly and the charge IC sees the expected voltage range on first power-up.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and load discharge on the bench. The BMS held charge cutoff at 4.2V and engaged protection below 3.0V under sustained load — both within expected Li-ion operating bounds for this cell class.
  • First-cycle fast charge tip: On the S30, disable fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle after fitting this cell. The fuel gauge IC needs one full cycle against the new cell's discharge curve before it can calibrate accurately — running fast charging into an uncalibrated cell pushes current before the IC knows where the voltage cliff sits.

Why the S30 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The S30's fuel gauge IC builds its capacity model from the previous cell's charge and discharge history stored in the coulomb counter. When you fit a new cell, that stored model no longer matches the new cell's actual discharge curve. The phone reads voltage and maps it against the old curve, so the percentage shown drifts from reality — often reading 100% prematurely or dropping sharply near the bottom. One full discharge to automatic shutdown followed by a complete charge to 4.2V resets the coulomb counter against the new cell and restores accurate reporting.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem or display draws a short, high-current burst and the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold before the OS can react — a voltage cliff the fuel gauge didn't predict. It's most common before the coulomb counter has recalibrated to the new cell. The fix is the same full discharge-recharge cycle described above. If shutdowns persist past two full cycles, check that the replacement cell contacts are seated firmly — poor contact raises impedance and worsens voltage sag under load.

Frequently Asked Questions

The S30 shows 100% immediately after fitting the new battery, then the percentage drops fast — what's wrong?

Nothing is wrong with the cell itself. The fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve it built for the old battery, so percentage readings are unreliable until it recalibrates. Run the phone down until it shuts off automatically, then charge it uninterrupted to full. That one complete cycle gives the coulomb counter a real baseline for the new cell and percentage reporting stabilises from there.

The phone won't power on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months before installation — is the cell dead?

Probably not dead — just locked out by the BMS. Li-ion cells that drop below roughly 2.5V trigger a BMS protection lockout that blocks normal charging. Connect the S30 to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. Most chargers trickle a small pre-charge current that nudges the cell voltage above the lockout threshold, at which point the BMS resets and normal charging resumes. If the phone still shows nothing after 45 minutes on charge, try a different cable and adapter to rule out a current delivery issue.

The S30 gets noticeably warm near the battery compartment during the first few charges with the replacement cell — is that normal?

It is common on the first two or three charges. A new cell starts with higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, and the charge IC dissipates more heat while pushing current into it. Warmth — not heat you can't hold your hand against — is within normal range during this phase. Charge on a hard flat surface so heat can dissipate, and avoid charging inside a case for the first two cycles. If the device stays hot to the touch after three full charge cycles, that points to a seating or contact issue worth checking.
