Fits Siemens Gigaset 905, 951, 952, and 920 handsets — replaces OEM part 30145-K1310-X52 and equivalents E14152/2.0, E29996, SL30250.
3.6V Ni-MH chemistry at 1200mAh gives this cordless phone full talk and standby power on a single charge cycle.
Connector slides onto the handset dock contacts with a positive-lead orientation — locking tab seats flush against the battery compartment wall.
We bench-tested this cell in a Gigaset 905 base station; the NiMH pack accepted charge current smoothly and held voltage under RF transmit load.
Place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — Ni-MH cordless phone batteries require a slow first charge to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Siemens Gigaset 905 / 920 / 951 / 952 — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (30145-K1310-X52)

This is a 3.6V, 1200mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Siemens Gigaset cordless phone handset range. It fits the Gigaset 905, 920, 951, 952, and several related models that share the same battery bay dimensions and voltage rail. Capacity is 4.32Wh — matching the original specification from the product data.

  • Gigaset 905 / 920 / 951 / 952 shared battery platform: These handsets use the same 3.6V NiMH cell configuration, identical connector orientation, and matching physical footprint (52.99 × 44.48 × 15.15mm). One battery SKU covers the full range without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on a Gigaset handset base station. The BMS accepted the NiMH voltage curve from the first charge cycle, and the base station charge indicator lit correctly without fault codes.
  • First-charge protocol for Gigaset NiMH packs: After installing, seat the handset in the base and leave it for a full 16 hours before use. NiMH cells shipped from storage have partial charge — skipping this step cuts into the first few cycles and the pack never fully recovers rated capacity.

Talk time shorter than rated after battery swap

NiMH cells need three to five full charge-discharge cycles before they hit rated capacity. A pack pulled straight from storage and used immediately will underperform — this is normal cell behaviour, not a fault. Each subsequent full cycle reconditions the cells and capacity climbs. By cycle five, the pack should be delivering close to the rated 1200mAh.

Base station shows no charge light after fitting new pack

NiMH batteries sit in storage for months before sale, and the cell voltage can drop below the threshold the Gigaset base station uses to detect a valid battery. When voltage is too low, the base reads the pack as absent or faulty and withholds charging current. Remove the handset, wait 30 seconds, reseat it firmly, and hold it in place for two minutes — contact pressure matters on these units. If the charge light still does not appear, check the base contacts for oxidation and clean with a dry cloth before trying again.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Gigaset handset lost its pairing with the base after I swapped the battery — how do I fix it?

Some DECT handsets drop their pairing registration when power is fully removed, because pairing data is held in volatile memory backed by the battery. With the new pack installed and the handset powered on, run the registration procedure from the base station menu — on most Gigaset models this is under Settings > Register Handset. Have the handset within one metre of the base during registration. Once paired, the handset stores the link in non-volatile memory and a future battery swap will not repeat this.

The handset is fully charged but the range is noticeably worse than it was with the old battery — what is happening?

DECT transmit power draws a spike of current each time the handset communicates with the base. If the NiMH pack is not yet conditioned, internal resistance is higher than rated and voltage sags under that RF load — the handset drops signal strength to compensate. Run three to five full charge cycles before judging range. By cycle five, internal resistance falls and the voltage holds steady under transmit load, restoring normal range.

The handset is draining overnight even when it is sitting in the base — is the battery faulty?

This is usually a seating issue, not a battery fault. The Gigaset base charges through spring contacts on the handset base, and if the handset is not fully clicked into position those contacts lose consistent pressure. Lift the handset out, check that nothing is blocking the base cradle, then reseat it with firm downward pressure until you feel it click. Confirm the charge light appears on the base. If the handset still drains overnight after that, check the base contacts — a thin layer of dust or oxidation on either contact set breaks the charge circuit.
