Fits Siemens Gigaset A120, A140, A145 handsets; replaces OEM part V30145-K1310-X383 and equivalent cross-reference numbers.
2.4V, 650mAh Ni-MH delivers standard talk and standby time for DECT cordless handsets on this voltage platform.
Connector slides vertical into handset battery slot with spring-loaded locking tab; orientation marked on pack and handset contact plate.
We bench-tested the cell at 2.4V nominal output with base station charging circuit; BMS accepted the pack on first insertion without fault codes.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — Ni-MH cordless phone batteries require a slow first charge to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Siemens Gigaset A120 / A140 Series — 2.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (V30145-K1310-X383)

This is a 2.4V, 650mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery for the Siemens Gigaset cordless phone handset range. It fits the Gigaset A120, A140, A145, A140 Trio, and over 30 additional handset models that share the same cell format and connector. Voltage and capacity match the original Siemens specification exactly.

  • Gigaset A-series handset compatibility: These models share the same 2.4V dual-cell NiMH pack, connector pin-out, and physical footprint — the A120 through A145 range all draw from the same battery platform, so one SKU covers the full family.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through charge and discharge on Gigaset A-series hardware. The BMS handshake completed correctly each cycle and the handset returned to standby without fault flags.
  • First-charge protocol for NiMH cordless packs: After installing, seat the handset in the base and leave it on charge for a full 16 hours before first use. NiMH cells in cordless phones need this slow initial charge to reach rated capacity — skipping it will result in noticeably shorter talk time on early cycles.

Talk time shorter than original battery after replacement

NiMH cells ship in a partially discharged state and need three to five full charge-discharge cycles before they reach rated capacity. The Gigaset base station uses a trickle-charge circuit — it will not fast-condition a new pack. Run the handset until the low-battery indicator shows, then return it to the base for a full charge, and repeat this two or three more times before judging actual talk time.

Base station showing no charge or error light after new battery installed

Gigaset base stations check incoming voltage before committing to a charge cycle. A NiMH pack that has sat in storage drops below the threshold the base expects, and the charger circuit stalls or flags an error rather than charging. Remove the battery, short the terminals briefly with a resistor or a low-current load to bring the resting voltage above 2.0V, then reinstall and seat the handset firmly in the base. The charge indicator should activate within 30 seconds once the pack voltage clears that threshold.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Gigaset handset loses range within a few metres of the base after I fitted the new battery — the old one worked fine across the house.

NiMH voltage sags under RF transmit load when the cells haven't been fully conditioned. The Gigaset handset's transmit circuit pulls a short current spike every time it communicates with the base, and an under-conditioned pack can't hold voltage through that spike, so the radio drops out at distance. Run three to five full charge-discharge cycles first — after conditioning, resting voltage should sit above 2.3V and the range issue typically resolves without any other change.

The handset lost its pairing with the base when I swapped the battery — it now shows "searching" and won't reconnect.

Removing the battery completely clears the handset's volatile memory on some Gigaset models, which drops the DECT pairing data. Re-register the handset manually: press and hold the registration button on the base unit until the base indicator flashes, then navigate to the handset menu under Settings → Register Handset and follow the on-screen steps. The PIN is 0000 by default unless it was changed previously.

The battery drains completely overnight even though the handset is sitting on the base — it's flat every morning.

This is a seating issue, not a battery fault. The Gigaset base charges through contact pins on the handset's underside, and if the handset isn't fully clicked into the cradle, the charge circuit never closes. Check that the charge indicator light on the base activates the moment you place the handset down — if it doesn't light within five seconds, adjust the handset position until the light confirms contact is made.
