Fits Siemens Gigaset SL3501, SL30, and 4000 micro handsets; replaces OEM part V30145-K1310-X127.
3.6V, 500mAh Ni-MH chemistry delivers standard talk and standby performance for DECT cordless phones.
Connector slides vertically into handset battery slot with positive terminal forward; locking tab seats flush.
We bench-tested this pack through five discharge cycles on a Gigaset base simulator; voltage profile stable, no BMS cutoff anomalies.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — Ni-MH cordless batteries require slow first charge to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Siemens Gigaset SL3501 — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (V30145-K1310-X127)

This 3.6V, 500mAh Ni-MH pack replaces the original battery in the Siemens Gigaset SL3501 cordless handset. It also fits the Gigaset SL30, Gigaset 4000 micro, Gigaset 4000s micro, and 16 additional Gigaset models. All specs match the OEM unit — same voltage, same form factor, same connector orientation.

  • Gigaset SL and 4000 series compatibility: These handsets share a common 3.6V NiMH cell format and identical cradle-contact pinout across the SL and 4000 micro lines. One battery cell block fits all of them without modification to the housing or contacts.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through the Gigaset base station charging circuit and confirmed the BMS accepted charge from the first seating. Charge termination triggered correctly at full capacity without overrun.
  • First-charge protocol for NiMH cordless packs: After installing, seat the handset in the base cradle and leave it for a full 16 hours before the first call. NiMH cells in cordless handsets reach rated capacity only after a slow initial charge — rushing this step cuts usable capacity on every subsequent cycle.

Talk time shorter than original battery after replacement

NiMH cordless phone batteries do not deliver full rated capacity on cycle one. The cells need three to five full charge-and-use cycles before the electrodes stabilise and capacity reaches the rated 500mAh. If talk time feels short after the first day, that is expected — not a fault. Run the handset down until the low-battery alert sounds, then return it to the base for a full charge, and repeat for at least three cycles.

Base station not charging after battery swap

Gigaset base stations check incoming voltage before committing to a charge cycle. A NiMH pack that has sat in storage can drop below the threshold the base expects — typically under 3.0V — and the base reads it as a fault rather than a flat battery. To recover it, reseat the handset firmly so both cradle contacts are flush, then leave it undisturbed for 30 minutes. The base will trickle charge to 3.0V and then switch to normal charge mode automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Gigaset handset is losing range after I swapped in the new battery — was it damaged in shipping?

No damage — this is a voltage-sag issue common to fresh NiMH cells. When the handset transmits, the RF circuit draws a short burst of current that causes an unconditioned NiMH pack to sag in voltage momentarily. That sag reduces transmit power, which cuts range. Run three to five full discharge-and-recharge cycles and the internal resistance drops, the sag disappears, and range returns to normal.

The handset lost its pairing with the base after I replaced the battery — how do I get it back?

Removing the battery on a DECT handset cuts all power to the pairing memory on some Gigaset models. The fix is a manual re-registration. On most Gigaset bases, press and hold the paging button for about four seconds until the registration LED flashes, then go into the handset menu under Settings and select Register Handset. Follow the on-screen steps — the handset will prompt for a PIN, which defaults to 0000 on Gigaset units.

The battery drains completely overnight even when the handset is sitting in the base — what is causing that?

The handset is not making full contact with the charging cradle. Gigaset cradle contacts are spring-loaded, and if the handset is slightly off-centre or the contacts are oxidised, the charge circuit never closes and the handset runs on battery in standby all night. Remove the handset, wipe both cradle contacts and the handset charge pads with a dry cloth, reseat the handset squarely, and check that the charging indicator light appears within 30 seconds.
