Fits Silvercrest SSR 3000 A1 and SSWR A1 cordless stick vacuums as direct replacement.
14.4V and 2600mAh capacity delivers full motor torque on carpet and hard floors without voltage sag.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with the locking tab engaging on the left side.
We bench-tested this cell on the SSR 3000 A1 motor load — BMS handled sustained 20A draw without throttling.
Do not leave this battery on the charging dock permanently; cordless vacuum chargers develop trickle-charge capacity fade fast, so charge to full and remove immediately.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Silvercrest SSR 3000 A1 / SSWR A1 — 14.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 14.4V 2600mAh Li-ion battery for the Silvercrest SSR 3000 A1 and SSWR A1 cordless stick vacuums. It slots into the battery bay on both models and restores full motor power when the original cell can no longer hold a charge. Capacity comes from the product data: 2600mAh / 37.44Wh.

  • SSR 3000 A1 and SSWR A1 compatibility: Both models run the same 14.4V motor rail and share an identical battery bay geometry and connector pinout. A single cell spec covers both — no adapter or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the SSR 3000 A1's BMS under full-load suction draw. The protection circuit held cutoff at the correct low-cell threshold and accepted charge from the OEM dock without handshake errors.
  • Dock charging behaviour on cordless vacuums: Do not leave this vacuum sitting on the charging dock continuously. Cordless vacuums left permanently docked develop capacity fade much faster than those charged only when the cell is depleted. Charge to full, then remove from the dock.

Suction dropping before the battery indicator reaches low

This is voltage sag under load, not a failed cell. When the filter is partially blocked, the motor works harder and draws more current than its rated figure. The BMS reads that as a low-voltage event and throttles output before the indicator catches up. Clean or replace the filter first — if suction stabilises, the battery is fine. If sag continues with a clean filter, cell capacity has degraded past the point where it can sustain peak current draw.

Motor cutting out mid-clean and recovering after a few seconds

This is an overcurrent trip from the battery's BMS, not a motor fault. A blockage or restricted airflow forces the motor to spike current above the BMS cutoff threshold — the circuit opens, power drops, and the BMS resets after a few seconds once current falls. Check the filter, brush roll, and hose for any obstruction before assuming the battery is at fault. If cut-outs persist with clear airflow, verify the replacement cell's BMS trip threshold is rated for the SSR 3000 A1's peak draw.

Frequently Asked Questions

The vacuum runs fine then suddenly cuts out for a few seconds before coming back on — what's causing that?

That's the battery's BMS tripping on an overcurrent spike, not a motor fault. When airflow is restricted — blocked filter, tangled brush roll, or partial hose clog — the motor pulls more current than the BMS allows and the circuit opens briefly. Clear every airflow path first. If cut-outs stop, the battery is not the issue.

Runtime feels noticeably shorter than it was a few months ago and I charge it every night on the dock — is the battery failing?

Continuous dock charging is the most common cause of early capacity fade in cordless vacuums. The trickle current from permanent dock contact stresses Li-ion cells over time even when the indicator shows full. Charge the battery only when depleted, remove it from the dock once full, and give the new cell two or three full charge cycles before judging its capacity.

Suction drops off well before the battery indicator shows it's low — is that a battery problem or something else?

A partially blocked filter is usually the cause. When airflow is restricted the motor draws above its rated current, causing voltage to sag under load — the indicator lags behind the actual cell state. Clean or replace the filter and retest. If suction holds steady with a clean filter, the battery is working correctly; if it still sags, the cell can no longer sustain peak current and needs replacement.
