Fits TCL P306C, J706T, P306W smartphones; replaces OEM part TLi018FH.
3.8V 1800mAh lithium-ion cell delivers standard smartphone runtime on the P306C platform.
Connector is proprietary TCL; physical fit confirmed against original housing and retention clip.
We bench-tested this cell on a P306C; BMS accepted the pack without fault codes or early cutoff events.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

TCL P306C / J706T Series — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (TLi018FH)

This is a 3.8V, 1800mAh Li-ion cell that replaces part number TLi018FH in the TCL P306C, P306W, and J706T smartphones. The original cell degrades over charge cycles, causing shutdowns and inflated percentage readings. This replacement restores the cell capacity the fuel gauge IC and charge controller expect.

  • P306C, P306W, and J706T compatibility: All three models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why one cell covers all three. The TLi018FH designation confirms the correct BMS communication profile for TCL's charge IC on this platform.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge cycle on a P306C and monitored BMS negotiation, cutoff voltage, and thermal response at the charge IC. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, and charge termination triggered correctly at 4.35V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference curve for the new cell before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated state of charge estimate.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the TLi018FH replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff problem. When the modem transmits or the screen peaks in brightness, instantaneous current draw spikes — and a new cell that hasn't been calibrated yet can't sustain voltage above the BMS cutoff threshold. The phone reads 25% on the fuel gauge but the cell voltage has already dropped below the cutoff under load. One full slow discharge-charge cycle re-anchors the coulomb counter to the actual cell curve, and the shutdowns stop.

Phone won't power on after the replacement cell sat in storage

Replacement Li-ion cells ship at partial charge and continue to self-discharge in storage. If the cell drops below roughly 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks current flow to protect against unsafe charging of a deeply discharged cell. The phone will show no response — not a boot screen, not a charging indicator. Connect to a wall charger rated at 5V/1A and leave it for 15–20 minutes; the charge IC trickle-charges the cell back above the BMS re-entry threshold, typically around 2.9V, at which point normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

My TCL P306C is showing 25% battery but just shuts off with no warning — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. This is a voltage cliff: under modem or screen load, current draw spikes sharply, and the cell voltage collapses below the BMS cutoff before the fuel gauge has time to update. It happens because the fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve from your degraded original cell. Run one full slow discharge down to auto-shutdown, then charge to 100% without fast charging enabled — after that cycle, the coulomb counter recalibrates to the new cell curve and the shutdowns stop.

The battery percentage on my P306C is jumping around erratically after I fitted the TLi018FH replacement — sometimes it drops 10% in seconds.

The fuel gauge IC in the P306C was calibrated against the old cell's internal resistance and discharge curve. A new cell has different characteristics, so the IC's state-of-charge estimates become erratic until it builds a new reference. This is not a defective cell — it is the IC recalibrating. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles at slow charge speed and the percentage readings will stabilise as the coulomb counter locks onto the new curve.

Fast charging stopped working on my P306C after I replaced the battery — it only charges slowly now.

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC will sometimes reject the fast-charge protocol until it has verified the new cell's impedance and temperature response are within safe parameters. This is a one-cycle safety behaviour, not a permanent fault. Charge the phone fully at standard speed once, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — fast charging should negotiate correctly on the second cycle once the charge IC has a confirmed baseline for the new TLi018FH cell.
