Fits TomTom Spark 510 smartwatch, replaces OEM part PR-582035P directly.
3.7V, 320mAh lithium-polymer cell powers GPS tracking, heart rate monitoring, and fitness logging on this wrist unit.
Connector solders directly to watch PCB; no mechanical lock — alignment matters during reassembly to avoid cold joints.
We bench-tested this cell in a Spark 510 unit; BMS accepted the new pack on first charge with no fault codes or cutoff anomalies.
After fitting the new cell, place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately and charge to 100% before first use — the fuel gauge IC cannot calibrate its reference without a full charge cycle from near-zero after a cell swap.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

TomTom Spark 510 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (PR-582035P)

This is a 3.7V, 320mAh lithium-polymer cell built to fit the TomTom Spark 510 GPS sports watch. It replaces the original PR-582035P battery when capacity fade makes the watch unable to hold charge through a full day of activity tracking. The cell measures 37.00 × 20.00 × 6.00mm and connects directly to the Spark 510's internal battery header.

  • Spark 510 fit: The Spark 510 uses a compact LiPo format with a specific footprint and connector pitch tied to its GPS and heart rate sensor power rails. This cell matches that footprint exactly — no connector modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the Spark 510's BMS and confirmed the protection circuit handled charge cutoff correctly at 4.2V and triggered low-voltage cutoff before the cell dropped below safe discharge thresholds.
  • Post-swap charge requirement: After fitting the new cell, place the watch on its magnetic charger immediately and run it to 100% before first use. The Spark 510's fuel gauge IC loses its state-of-charge reference when the cell is swapped — skipping this step causes the watch to display 0% or shut off unexpectedly even with a full cell fitted.

Why the Spark 510 reads 0% immediately after a battery swap

The Spark 510 uses a fuel gauge IC that tracks charge by counting coulombs from a known reference point. When the battery is physically removed, that reference is wiped. The IC wakes up after the swap with no history, and without an initial full charge cycle it cannot estimate remaining capacity accurately. This causes the watch to show 0% or cut off at what appears to be a partial charge. Fix this by charging to 100% uninterrupted before turning the watch on for normal use.

Spark 510 not pairing with the phone app after battery replacement

Removing the battery drops power to the Bluetooth subsystem mid-session, which can corrupt the active BLE pairing state stored in volatile memory. The watch may power on normally but fail to appear in the TomTom MySports app or your phone's Bluetooth device list. This is not a battery fault — it is a lost session reference. Go to your phone's Bluetooth settings, forget the Spark 510 entry, then re-pair from scratch through the MySports app.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Spark 510 drains the new battery in a single day — it used to last several days. What's wrong?

A new cell on a degraded charge habit often exposes settings that were masked by the old battery's reduced draw. Check whether always-on display is active and whether continuous heart rate monitoring is enabled — those two together draw significantly more current than interval-based tracking. GPS activity logging compounds this further if a session was left running in the background. Disable continuous HR monitoring in the watch settings and confirm no active GPS session is recording to bring daily draw back in line.

The magnetic charger is connected but the Spark 510 shows no charging indicator after the battery swap.

This is almost always a contact alignment issue caused during reassembly. The Spark 510's charging contacts are small and the rear cover can shift fractionally when reseated, breaking the magnetic charger's electrical connection even when it appears to snap on correctly. Remove the charger, inspect the contact pads on the watch rear for any adhesive or debris, reattach the charger cable, and confirm the LED or on-screen charging icon appears. If it still shows nothing, re-open the case and check the battery connector is fully seated — a half-connected cell can prevent the BMS from enabling the charge path.

The GPS and heart rate sensor seem to drain the new battery faster than expected during the first week. Is the cell faulty?

This is normal behaviour and not a cell defect. A new LiPo cell has a slightly different internal impedance profile compared to the worn cell the watch was calibrated against. The Spark 510's sensor subsystems — particularly the optical HR module and GPS radio — draw current in short bursts, and the BMS reads those loads against the new cell's impedance until it settles after several full charge-discharge cycles. Run three complete charge cycles (charge to 4.2V, discharge through normal use, repeat) and the reported drain rate will normalise.
