This 7.5V 2600mAh alkaline battery replaces the power pack in Trilogy DL2700CR, DL2700DB, DL3500CR, DL3500DB, and compatible electronic door locks. It supplies the voltage rail needed to drive the motorized latch mechanism and keep the access control logic active. Capacity is 19.5Wh, matching the original specification.

Low battery warning on the DL2700 immediately after a new battery install

Some DL2700 units retain the low-battery flag in non-volatile memory and do not clear it automatically on power restore. The lock checks resting voltage at startup — if the battery sat in storage at reduced charge, the reading can fall below the lock's threshold even on a fresh unit. Confirm the replacement battery reads at or above 7.5V with a multimeter before installing. If the warning persists after a verified 7.5V install, remove the battery, wait 10 seconds, and reinsert to force a fresh voltage sample on boot.

Bluetooth not reconnecting to the Trilogy app after battery replacement

A full power interruption clears the active Bluetooth session on many Trilogy locks, and the lock does not automatically re-advertise to paired devices. Open the Trilogy app, navigate to the lock's device settings, and trigger a manual reconnect or re-pair from the app side — the lock will not initiate it. If the app cannot find the lock, hold the programming button for three seconds to wake the Bluetooth radio. Once paired, confirm the app shows the correct battery level before closing the door.

My Trilogy DL2700CR isn't responding to the keypad at all after I swapped the battery — what's wrong?

A power interruption on these locks sometimes leaves the control board in a suspended state that doesn't self-recover. Remove the battery, wait a full 10 seconds to let the capacitors drain, then reinsert it — the lock needs a clean cold-start to reinitialise the keypad logic. If the keypad still shows no response, check that the battery is seated fully and the connector is clicked in; a half-seated pack can read as present but deliver no usable current. After a confirmed cold-start, the keypad should respond within 5 seconds of battery insertion.

The lock motor sounds slow and the latch isn't fully retracting even with a brand-new battery — what causes that?

Motor sluggishness on the DL3500 and DL2700 series is almost always a voltage sag issue at the moment of motor start. Alkaline cells that have been sitting in storage for an extended period can measure 7.5V at rest but drop sharply under the inrush current the motor draws on engagement. Use a battery that was manufactured within the last 12 months — check the date code on the cell casing. If the motor still sounds laboured after fitting a fresh-dated pack, measure voltage at the connector under load; it should stay above 6.8V during the latch stroke.

My Trilogy lock keeps beeping a low-battery warning even though I just installed this replacement — is something wrong?

The DL2700 and DL3500 locks sample voltage within the first few seconds of power-up and latch that reading into the warning state if it falls short. Batteries stored at low temperatures can read below threshold until they warm to room temperature. Let the battery sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before installing, then do a cold-start (10-second removal) so the lock takes a fresh voltage sample. If the warning clears after a warm-temperature cold-start, the battery is fine — the initial reading was skewed by storage temperature.
