Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ulefone Paris / U007 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (29-11900-000-00)
This is a 3.7V, 1800mAh Li-ion cell that replaces the original battery in the Ulefone Paris and U007 smartphones. It carries OEM part number 29-11900-000-00 and matches the original's 81.00 × 57.50 × 4.00mm footprint exactly. Fit it when the original cell no longer holds a charge through a normal day of use.
- Paris and U007 compatibility: Both models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail, so one cell covers both. The BMS handshake is identical across the two variants — no firmware differences affect charging behaviour.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a Paris unit. The BMS accepted charge without tripping, held the voltage rail steady under screen-on and modem-active load, and logged no anomalous cutoff events during the test sequence.
- Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard current. This gives the fuel gauge IC time to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated reference.
Why the Paris reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The Paris uses a coulomb-counting fuel gauge IC that builds its percentage model against the original cell's discharge curve. When you install a new cell, the IC still references its stored curve — which no longer matches. The mismatch shows up as percentage jumps, early low-battery warnings, or a reading that stalls at one number for a long stretch. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard current resets the coulomb counter and lets the IC build a fresh curve against the new cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the replacement cell
This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity problem. When the modem transmits or the screen hits full brightness, current draw spikes briefly. If the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell, it can misread the actual state of charge — the reported percentage looks healthy while the real cell voltage has already dropped near the BMS cutoff threshold. The BMS trips and the phone shuts off without warning. Run one full cycle first, then check whether the phone holds voltage above 3.5V under load before dismissing the issue.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Ulefone Paris won't turn on at all after sitting in a drawer for months — is the new battery dead already?
It is not dead. A cell stored in a discharged state can drop below 2.5V, which triggers BMS lockout — the battery refuses to deliver current until it receives a trickle charge to bring the cell voltage back above the recovery threshold. Plug the phone into a wall charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without attempting to power it on. Once the cell climbs above approximately 3.0V, the BMS will re-initialise and the phone will respond normally.
The percentage on my Paris jumps around erratically — it was at 60%, then skipped to 35% within a minute. What is happening?
The fuel gauge IC is still running the discharge curve it mapped to the old, degraded cell. Against a new cell with a different internal impedance profile, its coulomb counter produces readings that drift and skip. This is not a fault in the replacement cell. Run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard charge current — no fast charging during this cycle. After that single calibration cycle, the percentage reading should stabilise.
Fast charging worked before I swapped the battery, but now the Paris only trickle charges. What changed?
On the first cycle after a cell replacement, the phone's charge IC sometimes does not negotiate the higher-current protocol until it has confirmed the new cell's impedance is within an acceptable range. This is a one-cycle behaviour. Let the phone complete one full charge at the lower current rate, disconnect, then reconnect — the fast charge negotiation should resume normally on the second and subsequent cycles.
