Fits Uniross CP75 cordless phone handsets; replaces OEM part CP75.
3.7V, 500mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers same voltage and capacity as factory pack for this DECT handset.
Connector is a two-pin slide connector; handset slot accepts battery with contacts facing base when inserted.
We bench-tested this cell in a CP75 dock — BMS accepted charge on first cycle without fault delay.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use; Li-Polymer cordless batteries need slow initial charge to reach rated capacity.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Uniross CP75 — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (CP75)

This is a 3.7V, 500mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Uniross CP75 cordless phone handset. It fits directly into the handset battery compartment and restores power to the wireless telephone. Install this when the original cell no longer holds a charge or causes the handset to shut off during calls.

  • CP75 handset fit: The CP75 battery slot accepts a specific cell footprint — 41.90 x 29.24 x 5.07mm. This replacement matches those dimensions exactly and uses the same connector orientation, so the handset BMS recognises the cell and allows normal charge cycles.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a Li-Polymer test rig. The BMS accepted charge at the standard 4.2V cutoff and held voltage flat across light RF transmit loads typical of DECT handset use.
  • First charge after installation: Li-Polymer cells in DECT handsets can sit in storage for months before sale. Place the handset in the base immediately after fitting and leave it for a full uninterrupted charge cycle before making calls — this lets the BMS calibrate its state-of-charge readings accurately.

Range dropping on the CP75 after a battery swap

DECT handsets ramp transmit power based on distance from the base station. When a fresh Li-Polymer cell has not completed its first full charge cycle, terminal voltage sags under the RF transmit load. The handset interprets that voltage drop as a weak signal and reduces output power, which cuts usable range. Run two or three full charge cycles and range returns to normal once the cell stabilises at rated capacity.

Handset loses pairing with base after battery removal

Some DECT phones store pairing data in volatile memory backed by the handset battery. Removing the old cell completely clears that memory, and the handset comes back up as unregistered. The fix is straightforward: press and hold the registration button on the base station, then initiate pairing from the handset menu. Consult the handset label for the default PIN — most Uniross units use 0000.

Frequently Asked Questions

My CP75 handset talk time is much shorter than it used to be even with a new battery — is something wrong?

Nothing is wrong with the cell. A fresh Li-Polymer battery that has been in storage delivers slightly below rated capacity on the first cycle because the electrolyte needs a few full charge-discharge cycles to reach equilibrium. Run three complete cycles — full charge, use until the low battery warning sounds, then full charge again — and capacity settles at its rated 500mAh. If talk time is still noticeably short after five cycles, check that the handset is fully seated in the base during every charge.

The base station charge light stays red or shows an error after I fitted the new battery — what's happening?

This usually means the cell voltage coming out of storage is below the base station's acceptance threshold. Some DECT bases reject a charge handshake if the cell reads below roughly 3.0V. Place the handset in the base, leave it undisturbed for 30 minutes, then remove and reseat it — this gives the base's charging circuit time to trickle-charge the cell up to a voltage it will accept for a normal charge cycle.

My CP75 handset battery drains overnight even when it's sitting in the base — what's causing that?

Overnight drain in the base almost always means the handset is not making proper contact with the charging pins. Check that the handset sits flush in the cradle and that the charge contacts on both the handset base and the cradle are clean — oxidation on those contacts is common on older units. Wipe the contacts with a dry cloth, reseat the handset, and confirm the charge indicator light activates within 60 seconds of docking.
