Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Verizon Droid Incredible — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (35H00127-06M)
This is a 3.7V, 1000mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Verizon Droid Incredible smartphone. It fits the original battery bay and connects to the same three-contact puck used by OEM part numbers 35H00127-02M through 35H00127-06M, BTR6200, and BTR6200B. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds charge or causes unexpected shutdowns.
- Droid Incredible compatibility: All six OEM part numbers in this family share the same 3.7V nominal voltage rail, connector footprint, and BMS handshake protocol — which is why a single replacement cell covers the full production run of this handset.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Droid Incredible platform and confirmed the BMS communicated charge state without triggering false-full cutoff or low-voltage lockout during the test.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: After fitting the new cell, run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% before normal use. This gives the fuel gauge IC a full-range sample of the new cell's discharge curve so percentage readings stay accurate.
Why the Droid Incredible shuts down suddenly at 20–30% after a cell swap
The Snapdragon S1 SoC and AMOLED display together can pull a short burst of current that a fresh, uncalibrated cell cannot sustain without the voltage dropping below the BMS cutoff threshold. The phone interprets this voltage sag as a dead cell and shuts down even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. This is a calibration gap, not a faulty battery. One full discharge-charge cycle lets the coulomb counter establish an accurate baseline, and the shutdowns stop.
Phone not powering on after the replacement battery sat in storage
Li-ion cells in storage self-discharge over time. If the cell drops below approximately 2.5V per cell, the BMS enters a lockout state and will not respond to a normal power-on press. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for at least 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will feed a trickle current into the cell to bring it above the BMS re-enable threshold, after which the phone will boot normally. If the charge indicator never appears after 45 minutes on a wall adapter, the cell has dropped below recoverable voltage.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Droid Incredible shows 25% battery and then just cuts off without warning — is this the new cell failing?
This is a fuel gauge calibration issue, not a faulty cell. The coulomb counter inside the phone is still reading from the old cell's discharge curve, so it misjudges how much voltage the new cell can sustain under display or modem load. Run one complete discharge to automatic shutdown followed by a full uninterrupted charge to 100%. After that cycle the shutdowns typically stop because the fuel gauge IC has a full-range map of the new cell.
The battery percentage on my Droid Incredible jumps around erratically after I put in the replacement — sometimes it reads 60%, then skips to 80%, then drops to 40%.
Erratic percentage jumps are the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against a new cell it has never seen before. The IC uses a stored discharge curve from the old cell, and until it collects enough data from the new one, its estimates are unreliable. Perform one slow, uninterrupted discharge to shutdown followed by a full charge with the screen off — this gives the coulomb counter a clean dataset. Percentage readings stabilise within one to three cycles.
The Droid Incredible feels noticeably warm near the battery compartment while charging the new cell — should I be concerned?
Mild warmth on the first few charge cycles is normal. A new cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a worn one, so the charge IC deposits energy less efficiently at first and some of that difference becomes heat. The warmth should reduce after two or three full cycles as impedance settles. If the back of the phone becomes hot to the touch or charging stops before 100%, remove the battery and check that the three contacts are seated flat against the puck — a misaligned contact forces the charge IC to work harder.
