Fits HTC Wildfire and G7 mini smartphones replacing part 35H00127-02M and cross references.
This 3.7V 1000mAh Li-ion cell restores baseline talk time and standby drain on aging Wildfire hardware.
Connector slides onto the original spring-tab contact block with locking notch seated flush against the frame slot.
Bench testing showed the onboard fuel gauge IC required one complete discharge cycle to recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.
On first charge after installation, skip any fast-charge option and run a full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate so the coulomb counter recalibrates before high-current charging stresses an uncalibrated BMS.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Dopod Wildfire / G7 mini — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (35H00127-02M)

This is a 3.7V, 1000mAh Li-ion cell replacement for the Dopod Wildfire, G7 mini, A3333, and G8 smartphones. It matches the original cell footprint at 65.00 × 43.85 × 4.50mm and uses OEM part numbers 35H00127-02M, BA S440, BB00100, 35H00127-04M, 35H00127-05M, and 35H00127-06M.

  • Wildfire / G7 mini / A3333 / G8 compatibility: These four models share the same HTC-platform battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Swapping between them uses the same cell without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on a Wildfire unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, charge termination triggered cleanly at 4.2V, and protection cutoff activated correctly at the low-voltage threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge to shutdown followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% before normal use. The Wildfire's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the original cell's discharge curve — one complete cycle re-anchors the coulomb counter to the new cell.

Why the Wildfire reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The Wildfire uses a fuel gauge IC that tracks charge by measuring accumulated current — not raw voltage. When you replace the cell, the IC still holds the learned discharge profile from the old, degraded cell. Until it recalibrates, the percentage shown on screen drifts significantly from actual charge state. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a full uninterrupted charge resets the learned curve. After that cycle, the reported percentage tracks the new cell accurately.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% remaining on the replacement cell

This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under load — typically during a call or with the screen at full brightness — faster than the fuel gauge anticipates. The cell hits the BMS low-voltage cutoff (around 3.0–3.2V) while the OS still shows charge remaining. It is a calibration lag, not a faulty cell. Run two full discharge-charge cycles without interruption, and the fuel gauge IC will map the new cell's voltage-sag curve correctly, eliminating premature shutdowns.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Wildfire won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is it dead?

Likely not dead — the BMS has locked the cell out after deep discharge below 2.5V. Connect the phone to a wall charger (not a PC USB port, which may not supply enough current) and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell until it climbs above the BMS reactivation threshold, typically around 2.9V, before the phone will respond.

The battery percentage jumps around erratically — it shows 45%, then suddenly 71%, then drops to 12% within minutes.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against the new cell after it was calibrated to the old degraded one. The coulomb counter lost its reference points when the old cell was removed. Run two complete cycles — discharge fully to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% each time — and the percentage readout will stabilise.

The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery compartment while charging the new cell — is that normal?

A new Li-ion cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates slightly more heat during the first few cycles. Mild warmth near the battery bay is expected for the first two to three charges. If the phone becomes hot to the touch or charging stops prematurely, remove it from the charger and let it cool to room temperature before resuming — then check that the charger output is 5V/1A, not a higher-voltage adapter.
