Fits Vivo iQOO 5 Pro, iQOO 5 Pro 5G, and V2025A models replacing OEM B-O2 battery.
7.74V 2000mAh Li-Polymer cell delivers 15.48Wh to sustain processor, modem, and display load.
Connector seats flat into battery slot with single locking tab; orientation marked on housing.
We bench tested the BMS against iQOO fast-charge protocol — handshake accepted, voltage regulation steady under 4.2A load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vivo iQOO 5 Pro — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B-O2)

This is a 7.74V, 2000mAh Li-Polymer replacement cell for the Vivo iQOO 5 Pro, iQOO 5 Pro 5G, and V2025A. It directly replaces the original B-O2 battery. Swap it in when the original cell can no longer hold charge or shuts the phone down unexpectedly.

  • iQOO 5 Pro / V2025A platform fit: The iQOO 5 Pro, iQOO 5 Pro 5G, and V2025A all run the same dual-cell 7.74V configuration with identical connector pin-out and BMS handshake protocol — one cell covers all three variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on iQOO 5 Pro hardware. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, and the charge IC stepped through the correct CC/CV phases to full termination.
  • First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-to-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve for the new cell before high-current fast charging pushes current into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

The iQOO 5 Pro's modem and display pull hard, simultaneous current spikes during 5G handoff and screen wake events. A new cell with a discharge curve the fuel gauge IC hasn't mapped yet will hit a voltage sag the IC misreads as adequate capacity — until the load spike collapses cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold. The phone reads 25% and then cuts off instantly. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate recalibrates the coulomb counter and eliminates this behaviour.

USB-PD fast charge not accepting the replacement cell on first cycle

After a cell swap, the charge IC briefly rejects high-current fast charge modes until it has confirmed the new cell's impedance profile. Vivo's proprietary fast charge protocol negotiates current levels against BMS data — a fresh cell with no charge history causes the IC to fall back to standard 5V charging on the first cycle. This is normal and not a fault with the replacement cell. Plug in, let it complete one full standard-rate charge, and fast charging will re-enable automatically on the next session.

Frequently Asked Questions

My iQOO 5 Pro shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — what's causing that?

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve and misjudges how much charge remains. When the 5G modem or display pulls a current spike, actual cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff before the percentage counter catches up. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% at standard rate — the coulomb counter will remap to the new cell and the early shutdowns will stop.

The battery percentage is jumping around erratically after I replaced the B-O2 — is the new cell defective?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The fuel gauge IC stores a learned discharge model for the previous cell, and a new cell with different internal characteristics throws that model off. The IC recalibrates by observing a complete discharge and charge cycle under real load. Let the phone discharge fully until it powers off on its own, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without fast charging. Erratic percentage readings typically stabilise after one or two full cycles.

The phone won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat uninstalled for a few weeks — how do I recover it?

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge in storage, and if this cell dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell the BMS will have entered lockout mode to prevent damage — it blocks all output until a recovery charge is applied. Plug the phone into a charger and leave it connected for at least 20–30 minutes before attempting to power on; the charge IC needs to push a trickle charge through the BMS lockout threshold first. If the charging indicator appears within that window, the cell is recovering — continue to a full charge before turning the phone on.
