Fits Vivo iQOO Neo5 5G, iQOO 7 5G, and I1012 models; replaces OEM B-P5 battery.
7.74V, 2100mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full-day runtime on the Neo5 5G platform.
Connector slides into the original slot with no locking tabs; orientation is keyed.
We ran this cell through a full discharge cycle on the Neo5 5G; BMS accepted charge without fault codes and voltage held steady under modem load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell curve before USB-PD pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vivo iQOO Neo5 5G — 7.74V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B-P5)

The B-P5 is a 7.74V lithium-polymer cell rated at 2100mAh (16.25Wh), built to restore power to the Vivo iQOO Neo5 5G and iQOO 7 5G. It also fits the I1012 and V2055A variants. Swap it in when the original cell no longer holds enough charge to carry the phone through a normal day.

  • Neo5 5G and iQOO 7 5G platform fit: Both handsets share the same dual-cell Li-Polymer pack architecture, connector pinout, and BMS handshake — so the same B-P5 cell services the full lineup without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge, discharge, and load cycles on the iQOO Neo5 5G platform. The BMS accepted the cell on first insertion, voltage read correctly at the fuel gauge IC, and charge current stepped up through each stage without fault flags.
  • First-cycle fast-charge hold: On first use after installation, disable Vivo FlashCharge for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This gives the fuel gauge IC time to map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes into an uncalibrated state.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

New Li-Polymer cells have a steeper voltage cliff than a partially degraded original. When the modem fires at full 5G power or the screen peaks in brightness, current draw spikes hard. If the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's curve, it reads 25% when the actual cell voltage has already dropped below the BMS cutoff threshold — around 3.0V per cell. The BMS trips and the phone shuts off instantly. One full discharge-to-shutdown followed by a complete charge cycle resets the coulomb counter and clears this behaviour.

OS reporting wrong percentage after cell swap

The fuel gauge IC in the iQOO Neo5 5G tracks charge state using a coulomb counter calibrated against the original cell's chemistry profile. Drop in a new cell and that calibration is mismatched — the counter shows 80% when the cell is at 65%, or it jumps erratically between readings. This is not a fault in the replacement cell. Drain the phone until it shuts down automatically, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without removing the cable. After one full cycle the IC recalibrates and percentage readings stabilise.

Frequently Asked Questions

My iQOO Neo5 5G won't turn on at all after fitting the B-P5 — the screen stays black even on charge

This is a BMS lockout. If the replacement cell sat in storage and dropped below 2.5V per cell, the BMS cuts all output to protect the cell from damage. Plug the phone into a charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes before pressing the power button — the charge IC will trickle current into the cell until the BMS threshold clears, typically around 2.7V per cell, at which point the phone will boot normally.

Vivo FlashCharge stopped working after I replaced the battery — it's only charging at standard speed now

The FlashCharge protocol requires the BMS on the new cell to complete a handshake with the charge IC on the first accepted cycle. On some units, the charge IC defaults to standard 5W on the first cycle as a safety measure while it reads the new cell's impedance profile. Charge the phone fully once at standard speed without interrupting the session. On the next charge, reconnect the original FlashCharge adapter — the handshake completes on the second cycle and fast-charge resumes at rated current.

The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery during charging — is this normal with a new B-P5 cell?

A new Li-Polymer cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates more heat at the battery interface during the first few cycles. The warmth typically sits between 35–40°C at the back panel — measurable but not harmful. Avoid using the phone heavily while it charges for the first three cycles. By cycle four, impedance drops as the cell conditions and the heat level returns to what you'd expect from the original battery.
