Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

VSN Mobil V.360° / V.360 HD — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LC18350-3P)
This is a 3.7V, 2600mAh (9.62Wh) Li-ion replacement cell for the VSN Mobil V.360° and V.360 HD panoramic cameras. It matches the OEM LC18350-3P specification and fits the original battery compartment without modification. Use it to replace a degraded original cell or keep a spare on hand during extended 360° capture sessions.
- V.360° and V.360 HD compatibility: Both models run the same voltage rail, battery compartment dimensions, and LC18350-3P cell format — the connector pinout and BMS handshake are identical across both, so one part number covers both camera variants.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through the V.360° body and confirmed the BMS accepted the cell after one full charge via the OEM charger. Thermal performance stayed within normal range across continuous 360° recording draws.
- First-cycle initialisation for V.360° body: Run the first charge entirely through the camera body or OEM charger — not a third-party USB adapter. The V.360°'s BMS maps its battery-remaining display against a charge curve it reads during that initial cycle. Skipping this step often causes erratic percentage readouts from the start.
Battery percentage jumping or reading 100% then dropping suddenly on the V.360°
The V.360°'s fuel gauge maps percentage thresholds against the original cell's discharge curve. A new LC18350-3P cell has a slightly different resting voltage profile at partial states of charge, which throws the indicator off until the BMS recalibrates. Run one full discharge-to-cutoff cycle followed by a full charge through the camera body. After that cycle, the BMS re-maps its thresholds to the new cell and the percentage display stabilises. If it still jumps after two full cycles, check that the cell is seated flush — a loose contact causes voltage noise the BMS misreads.
V.360° body not recognising replacement cell on first install
Some V.360° units run a BMS authentication check on every new cell insertion and will show a no-battery or incompatible indicator if the cell voltage is below their acceptance threshold — typically under 3.5V. Pull the battery, charge it externally to at least 3.6V using the OEM charger, then reinsert. If the camera still rejects it, power-cycle the body twice with the cell seated before retrying. Most units accept the LC18350-3P cleanly once the resting voltage clears 3.6V on first presentation.

Frequently Asked Questions
My V.360° shows a dead battery icon right after I install a fully charged replacement — why?
The camera's BMS checks resting cell voltage on insertion, and a new cell shipped at storage charge (around 3.7V) can sit just below the threshold the firmware expects for a "full" reading. Insert the cell, place the camera on the OEM charger for 10–15 minutes without powering on, then boot it. That short top-up brings the resting voltage above the BMS acceptance point and the icon clears.
Shot count is much lower than I expected from a 2600mAh cell in the V.360 HD — what's draining it?
The V.360 HD runs multiple lens arrays, stitching processor load, and gyro-stabilisation simultaneously — all drawing from the same cell. Published shot counts assume standard still capture; continuous 360° video or live-preview mode pulls significantly more current and shortens total capacity per charge. Reduce live-preview screen time between shots and keep the firmware updated, as older firmware versions are known to leave the stitching processor in an active state between captures, adding background drain.
The V.360° battery percentage jumps from 60% straight to 5% with no warning — is the replacement cell faulty?
This is a BMS calibration mismatch, not a faulty cell. The V.360°'s fuel gauge was calibrated against the original cell's discharge curve, and a new LC18350-3P reads differently at mid-charge voltage points until the BMS recalibrates. Run one complete cycle — full drain to automatic camera shutoff, then a full uninterrupted charge to 4.2V through the camera body. After one full cycle the BMS remaps its thresholds to the new cell and the percentage jumps stop.
