Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Worldline Yoximo — 7.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (3034110103)
This 7.4V 1100mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original 3034110103 cell in the Worldline Yoximo portable payment terminal. It fits the Yoximo's battery bay and connects to the same BMS circuit as the factory unit. Capacity is 1100mAh (8.14Wh), matching the original specification.
- Yoximo platform fit: The Yoximo uses a compact 7.4V two-cell Li-ion pack with a proprietary connector and an onboard BMS that monitors cell voltage, temperature, and state-of-charge. This replacement matches that voltage rail and connector pinout so the terminal's charge IC recognises the pack correctly.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this battery through charge and discharge on a Yoximo unit. The BMS accepted the pack without fault flags, and the charge IC moved through CC/CV phases normally before dropping to top-off mode at full capacity.
- First deployment step for the Yoximo: After installation, complete one full transaction cycle — including a receipt print — before putting the terminal into live service. The Yoximo maps battery capacity during normal operation and needs at least one complete power cycle to display the charge indicator accurately.
Payment terminal rebooting mid-transaction after battery swap
The Yoximo's receipt printer draws a short high-current pulse when it fires — this can trip the BMS overcurrent protection on a new cell that has not yet completed a full charge cycle. A freshly installed battery may sit at a partial state-of-charge, which lowers the cell's ability to deliver that burst without the BMS cutting output. The fix is to charge the terminal fully before first use and complete at least one full transaction with a receipt print while on charge. After one full cycle, the BMS recalibrates its overcurrent threshold against the actual cell characteristics and the reboots stop.
Terminal will not power on after sitting unused in a drawer
Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly over weeks. If the Yoximo has been stored without charging, the cell voltage may have dropped below the BMS recovery threshold — typically around 2.5V per cell, or 5.0V across the pack. At that point the BMS enters deep-discharge lockout and will not pass current to the terminal even when a charger is connected. Connect the terminal to its original charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC will attempt a trickle pre-charge to bring the cell back above the recovery voltage. If the charge LED does not respond after 30 minutes, the cell has gone below the point of recovery and the battery needs replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Yoximo shows a full charge indicator straight away after I fit the new battery — is that reading accurate?
No, not yet. The terminal's charge IC enters top-off mode on a new cell and the state-of-charge display defaults to near-full until the BMS has completed one full charge and discharge cycle. Run the terminal through a full charge, then use it through a normal transaction session until the battery level drops noticeably, then charge it fully again. After that single cycle the indicator will reflect actual capacity correctly.
The terminal freezes or drops the transaction right when the printer fires a receipt — what is causing that?
The receipt printer pulls a short high-current spike that can exceed the BMS overcurrent threshold on a battery that is not yet at full charge. This is a cell-state issue, not a fault with the battery itself. Charge the terminal to 100% before the first live use and run one complete transaction — card tap plus receipt print — while still on charge. Once the BMS has seen a full cycle at load, it sets the overcurrent limit against the cell's actual delivery capability and the mid-transaction cutout stops.
The Yoximo feels noticeably warm during a busy transaction period — is the battery overheating?
Warmth during heavy use is expected on the Yoximo. The combined draw from the display, wireless radio, and receipt printer runs continuously during a busy session, and the compact housing concentrates that heat near the battery bay. The BMS monitors cell temperature and will throttle or cut output before any damaging threshold is reached. If the terminal is too hot to hold comfortably, give it a two-minute rest between transactions and confirm the battery contacts are clean and seating fully — a poor contact increases resistance and adds heat at the connection point.
