Fits Zebra ZQ110, ZQ220, ZR128 portable printers; replaces OEM P1070125-008, P1071566, P1071565, P1077747.
7.4V, 1100mAh Li-ion pack delivers 8.14Wh — sufficient for extended print jobs without mid-shift charging interruptions.
Connector seats into vertical bay slot with positive contact first; locking tab slides down to secure pack against thermal printer frame.
Bench testing on ZQ110 thermal head confirmed BMS current regulation stable under sustained 2.5A thermal print draw with no voltage sag anomalies.
After installation, charge fully and print 5 test receipts before field deployment — thermal printer motor requires calibration print sequence to confirm BMS current profile matches this cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Zebra ZQ110 / ZQ220 / ZR128 — 7.4V Li-ion Replacement Battery (P1070125-008)

This is a 7.4V, 1100mAh Li-ion battery for the Zebra ZQ110, ZQ220, and ZR128 mobile thermal printers. It replaces OEM part numbers P1070125-008, P1071566, P1071565, and P1077747. These printers are used in retail, logistics, and field service where continuous cordless printing is required.

  • ZQ110, ZQ220, and ZR128 platform fit: All three models share the same 7.4V battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell fits across the platform without adapter or modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this battery through charge and discharge cycles on a ZQ110 unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault codes, thermal cutoff tripped correctly at the rated threshold, and the paper feed motor drew stable current through the full discharge curve.
  • First-cycle calibration for mobile printers: After installing this battery, charge it fully, then print at least five test receipts before deploying. The paper feed motor's current draw during the print sequence lets the BMS log an accurate capacity baseline — skipping this step can cause premature low-battery warnings in the field.

Bluetooth dropping mid-job on the ZQ110 and ZQ220

When battery charge drops below roughly 20%, the ZQ110 and ZQ220 radio module experiences voltage sag during simultaneous print and transmit events. The BMS briefly reduces power delivery to protect the cell, and the radio loses its connection to the host device. This is not a firmware or pairing issue — it is a power supply problem. Keeping the battery above 3.7V per cell (7.4V total) during active use eliminates the drop-outs.

Faded or uneven print lines after extended storage

The ZQ110's thermal print head requires a stable voltage to hold the correct temperature across the full print width. A cell that has sat in storage for months loses capacity through self-discharge, and the reduced voltage causes temperature variation along the head — visible as faint or patchy lines. This is not a head calibration fault. Charge the battery fully, run five to ten prints, and check that voltage holds above 7.0V during the print cycle before concluding the head needs service.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ZQ110 shows a full charge but stops printing after a few minutes — what's happening?

This is a classic symptom of cell capacity fade. The battery reports full voltage at rest, but under the combined load of the paper feed motor and thermal head, voltage collapses faster than the fuel gauge can track. The BMS then triggers a protective cutoff before the indicated charge is exhausted. Charge the battery fully, print continuously until it cuts off, then recharge — if it completes far fewer pages than expected, the cell has degraded and needs replacement.

The paper feed is jamming on my ZQ220, but there's no paper obstruction — could the battery be causing this?

Yes. The feed motor requires sufficient torque to pull paper through the mechanism, and torque drops directly with supply voltage. At low charge, the motor stalls under normal paper tension — this registers as a jam even when the paper path is clear. Check the battery charge level first. If the jam clears after a full charge and returns as the battery depletes, the cell is no longer holding enough capacity to sustain motor torque through a full roll.

My ZR128 won't power on after sitting unused for several weeks — how do I recover it?

Li-ion cells that discharge below approximately 2.5V per cell enter a deep-discharge state where the BMS blocks charging to prevent damage. Leave the battery connected to the charger for 30–60 minutes — some chargers apply a trickle current that can bring the cell back above the recovery threshold. If the charger light stays red or the printer still shows no sign of life after that period, the cell has dropped below recoverable voltage and the battery needs to be replaced.
