Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Alcatel One Touch Pixi 4 4.0 / OT-4034 Series — 3.8V Li-ion Replacement Battery (TLi015M1)
This is a 3.8V, 1200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Alcatel One Touch Pixi 4 4.0 smartphone. It fits the OT-4034, OT-4034D, and OT-4034X variants. OEM part numbers TLi015M1, TLi015M7, and TLi015MA all cross to this cell.
- OT-4034 series compatibility: The OT-4034, OT-4034D, and OT-4034X share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol — one cell fits all three without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge and discharge cycle on the OT-4034 platform. The BMS accepted the new cell without triggering a reject flag, and charge termination fired correctly at the 4.35V ceiling.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable fast charging for the first complete discharge-charge cycle after installation. The Pixi 4's fuel gauge IC is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. Running one uninterrupted cycle at standard current lets the coulomb counter reset its reference points before high-current charging begins.
Why the Pixi 4 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap
The OT-4034 uses a fuel gauge IC that tracks charge state against a stored discharge curve from the original cell. When you install a new cell, that curve no longer matches the actual voltage-to-capacity relationship of the replacement. The gauge reads capacity from a reference that is now wrong. One full discharge down to auto-shutdown, followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, resets the coulomb counter and brings percentage reporting back into line.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell
This happens when the cell voltage drops sharply under load — the modem radio or display pulls current and the cell cannot sustain voltage above the BMS cutoff threshold, even though the gauge still shows charge remaining. It is a voltage-cliff issue, not a capacity defect. A degraded original cell masks this because its discharge curve has flattened over time. After one full recalibration cycle, the fuel gauge IC maps the new cell's actual cliff point and shuts down at the correct percentage — typically below 5V open-circuit drop triggers a protect cut at 3.0V per cell.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Pixi 4 screen just went black and won't turn on — the phone sat unused for a few months. Is the battery dead?
Most likely the cell discharged below 2.5V during storage and the BMS has locked out the battery to prevent damage. Plug in a charger and leave it connected for 20–30 minutes before pressing the power button — the charge IC needs enough current to bring the cell above the BMS re-enable threshold before the phone can boot. If the charge LED does not light at all after 10 minutes, try a different cable and wall adapter to rule out a low-current source.
Fast charging stopped working after I fitted the replacement battery — the phone only trickle charges now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the Pixi 4's charge IC sometimes does not handshake with the new BMS on the fast-charge protocol. Run one full standard charge to 100% and drain the phone to auto-shutdown, then plug in again — the IC re-negotiates the charge profile on the second cycle. If fast charging still does not engage, confirm the adapter is rated for the correct input voltage, as the OT-4034 charge IC will default to trickle if input voltage falls below spec.
The battery percentage keeps jumping — it reads 45%, then suddenly 72%, then drops back. What is happening?
The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge curve and has not yet built a stable reference. This is normal for the first two to three charge cycles after a replacement. The jumps will tighten as the IC logs more complete cycle data. Run two full discharges to auto-shutdown and full charges without interruption, and the percentage display will stabilise.
