Fits Alcatel One Touch Pixi 4 6.0 and replaces OEM part CAC2580010C2 or TLp025G2.
This 3.8V, 2500mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full charge capacity to the 6-inch display and modem.
Connector slides into the battery bay with standard Alcatel alignment; locking tab seats flush against the frame.
We cycled this pack on the OT-9001A platform; the BMS accepted charge without fault codes or voltage sag.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-to-shutdown cycle before resuming normal use; this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Alcatel One Touch Pixi 4 6.0 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (CAC2580010C2)

This 3.8V, 2500mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original CAC2580010C2 / TLp025G2 cell in the Alcatel One Touch Pixi 4 6.0 and Pixi 4 6.0 LTE. It fits the OT-9001X and OT-9001A variants using the same connector and cell format. Dimensions are 73.10 × 54.13 × 4.40mm — confirm these against your existing cell before installation.

  • Pixi 4 6.0 series fit: The OT-9001X, OT-9001A, and LTE variant all run the same 3.8V voltage rail with the same flex-tab connector and identical BMS handshake requirements. One cell revision covers the full range.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on the OT-9001 platform. The BMS accepted charge current without fault flags, and protection circuits triggered correctly at both high-current draw and low-voltage cutoff.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated coulomb counter.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Pixi 4 6.0

The Pixi 4 6.0 pulls a hard surge when the 6-inch display and LTE modem run simultaneously. An aged or partially degraded cell hits its internal resistance ceiling before the fuel gauge reads zero — voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold while the OS still shows charge remaining. This is a voltage cliff, not a firmware bug. A fresh cell with lower internal resistance sustains the load and eliminates the early-shutdown event.

Phone reports wrong battery percentage after cell swap

The fuel gauge IC on the Pixi 4 6.0 stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. After a replacement, that stored curve no longer matches the new cell's actual voltage-to-capacity profile. The result is percentage readings that jump, stall, or cut out early. One full uninterrupted discharge to auto-shutdown followed by a complete charge to 100% forces the coulomb counter to re-learn against the new cell — after that cycle, readings stabilise.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Pixi 4 6.0 shuts off at around 25% battery — will a new cell fix this?

Yes. This is a voltage cliff — the old cell's internal resistance has risen to the point where it can't sustain voltage under the combined load of the LTE modem and 6-inch display, even though the fuel gauge still shows charge remaining. The BMS cuts power to protect the circuit. A new cell with lower internal resistance holds voltage through that load spike and eliminates the early shutdown. Install the replacement and run one full discharge cycle before trusting the percentage reading.

The battery percentage is jumping around erratically after I fitted the replacement — what's happening?

The fuel gauge IC on the Pixi 4 6.0 learned its discharge model from the original cell. It doesn't automatically reset when a new cell goes in — it keeps applying the old curve to different chemistry characteristics, which produces erratic readings. Run one complete discharge to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the phone. That single cycle forces the coulomb counter to recalibrate against the new cell, and percentage reporting stabilises from that point on.

Fast charging stopped working after I replaced the battery — the phone just slow-charges now

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the charge IC on the Pixi 4 6.0 can default to a reduced current rate while it verifies the new cell's impedance profile. This is normal behaviour and not a fault with the replacement. Charge the phone fully once at whatever rate it accepts, then disconnect and reconnect the charger — fast charge protocol typically resumes from the second session. If it doesn't, confirm the charger output is at least 5V/2A, as the phone won't negotiate higher current from a low-output adapter.
