Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Trevi Sicuro 10 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This 3.7V Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Trevi Sicuro 10 mobile phone. It delivers 1200mAh (4.44Wh) — matching the stock capacity this handset was built around. Dimensions are 53.00 x 33.90 x 5.70mm, so it fits the original battery bay without modification.
- Sicuro 10 form factor: The Sicuro 10 uses a compact removable cell with a low-current BMS suited to a basic phone load — modest screen, no background sync overhead. This cell matches that BMS voltage threshold and connector pinout exactly.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Sicuro 10 platform. The BMS accepted charge from the stock charger without fault flags, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold under load.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first install: On first use after installation, disable any fast-charge mode for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the phone's fuel gauge IC learn the new cell's discharge curve before making percentage calculations against it.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Sicuro 10 after a cell swap
The Sicuro 10's fuel gauge IC stores a discharge curve calibrated to the original cell. A new cell has a slightly different internal resistance profile, so the IC misjudges where the voltage cliff sits. When the phone places a brief high-current demand — backlight burst or a call connection — the new cell's voltage dips below the IC's shutdown threshold earlier than the displayed percentage suggests. One full discharge-to-charge cycle rewrites that calibration. After that cycle, the reported percentage and actual cutoff point realign.
Phone won't power on after the replacement cell sat in storage
Li-ion cells self-discharge during storage. If this cell dropped below approximately 2.5V per cell before installation, the BMS enters lockout mode and blocks current flow to protect against unsafe charging of a deeply discharged cell. The phone shows nothing — no charging indicator, no boot attempt. Connect the stock charger and leave it undisturbed for 20–30 minutes. Most BMS circuits include a trickle pre-charge stage that slowly raises cell voltage back above the 2.5V threshold before allowing normal charge current to flow.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my Trevi Sicuro 10 show 25% battery and then switch off with no warning after fitting the new cell?
The fuel gauge IC on the Sicuro 10 is still running the discharge curve it learned from the old, degraded cell. When the new cell's voltage drops sharply under a brief current spike — a screen wake or call — the IC hits its shutdown threshold earlier than the percentage display suggests. This is not a faulty battery. Run one full discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge to 100% without interruption. After that single cycle the IC recalibrates and shutdowns stop.
The battery percentage on my Sicuro 10 is jumping around erratically — it went from 60% to 41% in two minutes.
Erratic percentage jumps are a coulomb counter recalibration issue, not a cell fault. The Sicuro 10's fuel gauge IC lost its reference point the moment the old cell was removed, and it is now estimating charge state from incomplete data. It corrects itself by observing a complete discharge and charge cycle. Let the phone discharge fully to auto-shutdown, then charge in a single uninterrupted session to 100%. The percentage display stabilises after that reference cycle.
My Sicuro 10 won't turn on at all after the new battery was installed — charger is connected but nothing happens.
If the replacement cell discharged below 2.5V during storage, the BMS enters a lockout state and blocks all output current until the cell is partially recovered. The phone cannot boot and shows no charging animation. Plug in the original stock charger and leave it connected without pressing any buttons for at least 25 minutes. The BMS pre-charge stage will slowly push current into the cell at a reduced rate until voltage rises above the lockout threshold, at which point normal charging resumes.
