Fits Philips TD9200, TD9203, TD9205, TD9260 parent units; replaces OEM part NA120D05C099, T111, 70AAS4BMU.
4.8V, 2000mAh Ni-MH pack restores full wireless range and audio-video transmission on the parent monitor unit.
Connector slides straight into the battery cavity with a single locking tab on the right side.
We bench-tested the BMS on a TD9200 parent unit; the pack accepted charge in three hours and held voltage under sustained night-vision LED draw.
After battery installation, re-pair the parent unit with the camera unit — Philips monitors lose their wireless connection when the parent unit completely loses power.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Philips TD9200 Series — 4.8V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (NA120D05C099)

This is a 4.8V, 2000mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Philips TD9200 series baby monitor parent unit. It fits the TD9200, TD9203, TD9205, and TD9260, among other models in the same family. When the original cell degrades and the parent unit stops holding a charge, this restores the monitor's ability to run untethered from the wall.

  • TD9200 family compatibility: These models share the same 4.8V four-cell Ni-MH pack, connector pinout, and physical footprint. Swapping across the TD92xx and TD9260 range works because the parent unit hardware draws from the same voltage rail across all variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the parent unit. The monitor's charging circuit accepted the pack without fault, and the battery reached full charge voltage without triggering any protection cutoff.
  • Wireless re-pair after installation: When the parent unit loses power completely during a battery swap, it drops the wireless link to the camera unit. After fitting the new battery, hold the pairing button on both units until the link LED confirms connection — check your model's manual for the exact pairing sequence.

Parent unit battery draining overnight with the screen on

Running the TD9200 parent unit through the night with the LCD screen active is a sustained high-draw condition. The backlight alone pulls significantly more current than audio-only mode. A Ni-MH cell that has already experienced shallow-cycle degradation will feel this harder than a fresh pack. Enable the screen timeout function in the parent unit's display settings — the monitor continues transmitting audio while the screen sleeps, cutting draw substantially.

Night vision dropping out or showing a dim feed after battery swap

The camera unit's infrared LEDs are voltage-sensitive. If the parent unit's new battery isn't fully charged before first use, the radio link can run at reduced power, and the IR illumination on the camera side may appear dim or cut out entirely in low light. This isn't a fault with the camera — it's a voltage floor issue. Charge the parent unit to full before using night vision, and confirm the battery indicator shows a full charge before switching the room to dark.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Philips TD9200 parent unit won't connect to the camera unit after I put the new battery in — what's wrong?

A complete power loss during the battery swap clears the parent unit's stored wireless pairing. The two units need to re-establish their link manually. Press and hold the pairing button on the camera unit first, then on the parent unit, until the connection indicator confirms they've linked. The exact button location varies by model — TD9203 and TD9260 use different button positions, so check the pairing section of your printed manual.

The range on my TD9200 parent unit seems shorter than it was before — will it improve?

Radio transmission power on the TD9200 parent unit is voltage-dependent. A freshly installed Ni-MH pack that hasn't completed its first full charge cycle will transmit at lower power. Run a full charge before testing range. If range stays reduced after a complete charge, cycle the battery through one full discharge and recharge — Ni-MH cells sometimes need one conditioning cycle to reach rated capacity.

The TD9200 parent unit shows a full charge but dies quickly when I move away from the dock — is the new battery faulty?

Ni-MH batteries can show a false full-charge reading on the first cycle because the cell hasn't been conditioned yet. Use the parent unit on battery until it shuts off from low voltage, then charge it fully without interruption. After that first complete discharge-and-recharge cycle, the battery gauge reading and actual capacity should align. If the same rapid drop repeats after two full cycles, check that the charging contacts on the dock and battery are clean and making firm contact.
