Fits Uniden UBW2010C parent unit, replaces OEM part YK553759.
3.7V 1250mAh lithium-polymer cell powers the wireless parent monitor for full charging cycles.
Connector slides into battery slot with flat orientation; locking tab seats flush against housing.
We bench-tested this cell in the UBW2010C dock — BMS accepted the charge cycle and held voltage under standby draw without early shutoff.
After battery installation, re-pair the parent unit with the camera unit using the sync button on both devices.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Uniden UBW2010C Monitor — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (YK553759)

This 3.7V 1250mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the original pack in the Uniden UBW2010C parent unit. It fits the handheld monitor only — not the nursery camera unit. Voltage and capacity match the OEM spec exactly.

  • UBW2010C parent unit fit: The parent unit runs on a single-cell Li-Polymer pack regulated to 3.7V nominal. This battery uses the same cell format, connector pinout, and BMS handshake as the original — the parent unit charges and reports battery level normally after swap.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through charge, discharge, and wireless transmission cycles on the UBW2010C parent unit. The BMS held charge termination cleanly and the unit accepted the pack without error flags.
  • Re-pair after power loss: Swapping the battery drops power to the parent unit completely. The UBW2010C loses its wireless link to the camera when this happens. After fitting this battery, press and hold the pairing button on both units to re-establish the connection before first use.

Parent unit battery draining overnight on the UBW2010C

Running the UBW2010C parent unit through the night with the screen active is a sustained draw on a 1250mAh cell. The display backlight, RF receiver circuit, and audio output all pull current continuously. A fresh pack will not last indefinitely under this load without the screen timeout enabled. Go to the parent unit display settings and set the screen to auto-off — the audio and alert functions remain active even with the screen off.

Night vision not working after battery replacement

The infrared LEDs in the camera unit draw more current at low light, and the parent unit's RF receiver requires stable voltage to decode that signal cleanly. If the replacement pack is not fully charged before first use, the parent unit voltage sags under combined RF and display load, and night vision footage drops out or freezes. Charge the parent unit to 100% before testing night mode. If the issue persists after a full charge, confirm the camera unit is within 3 metres during initial pairing.

Frequently Asked Questions

My UBW2010C parent unit shows "out of range" right after I put the new battery in — camera was working fine before.

A full power interruption during the battery swap clears the wireless link stored in the parent unit. The camera and parent unit need to be re-paired from scratch. Hold the pairing button on the camera unit first, then press pair on the parent unit within 30 seconds. Do this with both units within 1 metre of each other.

The UBW2010C parent unit won't show a night vision picture after the battery swap — just a black screen at night.

The IR LEDs on the camera and the RF receiver on the parent unit both need stable voltage to operate together at night. If the new battery was not charged before first use, voltage sag under combined load kills the night vision signal first. Charge the parent unit fully, then test night mode — a fully charged 1250mAh cell at 3.7V nominal will hold the IR circuit stable.

My UBW2010C parent unit seems to drop signal faster than before — range is noticeably shorter with the new battery.

The parent unit's radio transmitter power is directly tied to supply voltage. A partially charged or deeply discharged Li-Polymer cell runs below 3.6V, which reduces the RF output and cuts effective range. Charge the parent unit fully before judging range — if the problem remains at full charge, check that no large metal objects or thick walls sit between parent unit and camera that weren't there before.
