This is a 3.6V, 700mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for Binatone cordless phone handsets across the Cheetah Range, E3250, E920, Easy Touch 100, and over 16 additional compatible models. It fits directly into the handset battery compartment and restores talk and standby function when the original cell no longer holds charge. Check dimensions before fitting: 45.90 x 31.20 x 10.70mm.

Talk time shorter than the original battery after replacement

NiMH cells arrive partially discharged from storage and require three to five full charge-discharge cycles before they reach rated capacity. On cycle one, you will likely see noticeably shorter talk time than expected — this is normal cell behaviour, not a fault. Each full cycle conditions the cell further. By cycle four or five, talk time should stabilise at or near the 700mAh rated capacity.

Base station shows no charge or error light after fitting new battery

NiMH cells that have sat in storage can drop below the voltage threshold the base station uses to confirm a valid pack is seated. If the base shows an error light or no charge indication, remove the handset, wait 30 seconds, and reseat it firmly. If the issue persists, check resting cell voltage — it should read at least 3.0V before the base will accept a charge cycle. A brief trickle from an external NiMH charger can bring a deeply discharged cell back above that threshold.
