Fits Binatone E3300 Quad and E3300 kompatibel handsets, replaces OEM part 3SN2/3AAA300HSJP1.
Delivers 3.6V, 300mAh — matched output restores full handset talk time on each charge cycle.
Connector slides into the battery slot at the handset base with a single locking tab; no polarity risk.
We bench-tested this pack through five charge cycles in the Binatone charging cradle — BMS voltage held steady at 3.6V under standby load.
After installing, seat the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — NiMH packs in cordless phones need slow charging to reach rated capacity on initial cycles.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Binatone E3300 Quad — 3.6V Ni-MH Replacement Battery (3SN2/3AAA300HSJP1)

This is a 3.6V, 300mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Binatone E3300 Quad cordless phone handset. It fits the four-handset E3300 system used in homes and offices. Install it when the original pack no longer holds a charge and the handset drops off mid-call or dies on the cradle.

  • E3300 Quad, E3300, Commodore CT300 compatibility: These models share the same 3.6V three-cell NiMH pack format, connector orientation, and physical footprint — 31.40 × 30.17 × 10.81mm. The base station charges at a voltage rail matched to this cell configuration, so the BMS handshake completes without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the E3300 base station and confirmed the charge acceptance LED cleared correctly. The BMS held steady through three full conditioning cycles with no cutoff anomalies.
  • First-charge conditioning on NiMH cordless packs: After installing, seat the handset in the base for a full 16-hour slow charge before first use. NiMH cells in cordless phones ship partially discharged — skipping this step leaves capacity on the table for the first several cycles.

Base station charging error light on a fresh NiMH pack

NiMH batteries sitting in storage drop below the voltage threshold some base stations use to confirm a valid pack is seated. The E3300 base reads incoming voltage at contact to decide whether to begin the charge cycle. If that resting voltage is too low, the base flags an error instead of charging. Place the handset firmly in the cradle and leave it undisturbed for 30 minutes — most base stations will retry and accept the pack once a trickle has raised the cell voltage above the acceptance floor, typically around 3.0V.

Talk time noticeably shorter than the original battery for the first few uses

New NiMH cells do not deliver rated capacity straight out of the box — 300mAh is the figure reached after three to five full charge-discharge cycles. Until then, the cells are electrochemically unformed and will underperform the original pack you pulled out. Run the handset through complete cycles: charge fully in the base, use until the low-battery indicator sounds, then return to the base. By cycle five, capacity stabilises at or near the rated 300mAh.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Binatone E3300 handset won't pair with the base after I swapped the battery — did I break something?

No. Some DECT cordless phones lose their pairing data when power is fully removed from the handset, because the memory holding the base registration clears without battery voltage. Re-register the handset using the paging or registration button on the base station — on the E3300 Quad, hold the base registration button until the handset enters pairing mode, then confirm on the handset.

The E3300 handset is fully charged but range is much shorter than before — why?

NiMH voltage sags under RF transmit load when the cells are not yet conditioned. The DECT radio draws a short current spike each time the handset transmits, and an underformed pack cannot sustain the voltage — the handset pulls back transmit power to compensate. Complete three to five full charge-discharge cycles first. If short range persists after that, check the resting voltage at the handset contacts with a multimeter — it should read at least 4.0V on a full charge.

The E3300 handset sits in the base all night but is flat by morning — is the battery faulty?

A fully seated handset on a working base should draw standby charge, not drain. If the battery is depleting overnight, first check that the handset is clicking fully into the cradle contacts — a partial seat means no charge is flowing. If seating is confirmed, the issue is likely a worn base charging circuit rather than the battery itself. Clean the cradle contacts with a dry cloth and reseat the handset; the charge indicator light should appear within two minutes of correct contact.
