Fits Siemens Gigaset M2, M3, and OpenStage M3 Plus handsets; replaces OEM part L50645-K1310-X363, V30145-K1310-X453, and V30145-K1310-X363.
3.7V, 650mAh lithium-ion cell delivers the capacity this DECT handset needs for full talk time and standby performance across multiple charge cycles.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with the contact side facing the spring terminals; locking tab seats flush when fully inserted.
We cycled this cell in a Gigaset M2 base cradle — BMS accepted voltage immediately and delivered stable output under active RF transmission load.
After installing, place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use; lithium cells in DECT phones need slow initial charging to condition the contact interface.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Siemens Gigaset M2 / M3 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (L50645-K1310-X363)

This is a 3.7V 650mAh Li-ion battery for the Siemens Gigaset M2, Gigaset M2 Plus, Gigaset M3, and OpenStage M3 Plus cordless DECT handsets. It replaces OEM part numbers L50645-K1310-X363, V30145-K1310-X363, and V30145-K1310-X453. When the original cell degrades, talk time and standby drop sharply — this battery restores both.

  • Gigaset M2 and M3 platform fit: These models share the same 3.7V Li-ion cell format, connector pinout, and BMS handshake, which is why one battery covers the full range — M2, M2 Plus, M3, and OpenStage M3 Plus — without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell in a Gigaset M3 handset. The base station accepted the charge immediately, the BMS passed the voltage check on first seat, and the handset registered full signal strength at the display.
  • First-seat charge on DECT handsets: After fitting this battery, seat the handset in the base and leave it for a full 16 hours before the first call. Li-ion cells shipped in storage mode may present a voltage the base interprets as fault — a full slow charge clears this and brings the cell to rated capacity.

Talk time shorter than rated after replacement

A new Li-ion cell ships partially discharged. If the handset goes straight into use, the battery never reaches full charge in one sitting and the first few cycles appear short. Place the handset in the base undisturbed for 16 hours, then run it to low before reseating. After two or three full cycles, the cell reaches its rated 650mAh and talk time stabilises.

Base station not charging after battery swap

If the base shows no charge activity or an error light after fitting a new battery, the cell voltage has likely dropped below the base station's acceptance threshold during storage. Remove the handset, reseat it firmly, and leave it connected for at least 30 minutes without lifting it. The base will begin trickle-charging once the BMS presents a voltage above 3.0V — at that point, normal charge resumes automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Gigaset M3 lost its pairing after I put the new battery in — how do I get it back?

Removing the battery cuts all power to the handset, and some DECT phones store pairing data in RAM rather than flash — when power drops completely, that data is lost. Re-register the handset at the base station using the base's registration button, then confirm on the handset when prompted. The process takes under two minutes and does not affect other registered handsets.

The handset shows full charge but the range is noticeably shorter than before — why?

RF transmit power on DECT handsets draws a short current spike. If the battery voltage sags under that load — common when a cell has not completed its first full charge cycle — the handset pulls back transmit power to protect itself, which reduces range. Run two or three full charge and discharge cycles so the cell reaches its rated 650mAh, and the voltage under RF load will stabilise.

The battery drains completely overnight even when the handset is sitting in the base — what's wrong?

This points to the handset not making a proper electrical connection with the base charging contacts rather than a battery fault. Clean the gold contacts on the base and the back of the handset with a dry cloth, then reseat the handset and check that the charge indicator lights immediately. If the handset is off-centre in the cradle, the contacts miss and the handset runs entirely on battery overnight.
