Switel DF891 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V 500mAh Li-ion battery for the Switel DF891 cordless DECT handset. It fits directly into the handset battery compartment and restores power to the telephone. Use it when the original cell no longer holds a charge or the handset shuts off prematurely.

• DF891 handset fit: The DF891 uses a compact single-cell Li-ion pack running at 3.7V nominal. That voltage rail matches the handset's charging circuit and powers the DECT radio module without modification.

Handset not pairing with base after battery replacement

Removing the original battery cuts power completely to the DF891 handset. Some DECT systems lose their pairing data when the handset loses power. If the handset shows no signal or fails to register after the swap, re-pair it manually using the base station registration button. Check the DF891 manual for the exact key sequence — typically hold the paging button on the base for five seconds until the handset confirms registration.
