Replaces TeXet DLP413239 and 0837 battery packs for TX-D7950 cordless phone handsets.
3.7V lithium-ion at 500mAh delivers the same capacity as original; sustains talk and standby cycles on this DECT platform.
Connector slides into handset battery slot with flat contact alignment; locking tab sits flush against housing when seated correctly.
Bench testing shows the BMS accepts charge from TeXet base stations without error codes; voltage hold remains stable through standby draw.
Place the handset in the base for a full 16-hour charge before first use — lithium cells in DECT phones need slow initial charge to stabilize firmware handshake.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

TeXet TX-D7950 — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (DLP413239)

This is a 3.7V, 500mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the TeXet TX-D7950 cordless DECT handset. It slots into the handset battery compartment and restores power to the phone. Voltage and capacity match the original DLP413239 specification exactly.

  • TX-D7950 handset fit: The TX-D7950 uses a slim single-cell Li-ion pack at 3.7V nominal. The DLP413239 footprint — 40.25 × 31.92 × 4.32mm — matches the original cavity dimensions, so the connector seats without forcing.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the TX-D7950 base station. The BMS accepted charge from cold storage, balanced correctly at full voltage, and cut off cleanly at the low-voltage threshold without tripping a fault state.
  • First charge on the TX-D7950 base: After installing this battery, seat the handset in the base cradle and leave it for a full 16 hours before first use. Li-ion cells in low-draw DECT handsets ship at partial state of charge — a slow first charge from the base lets the cell reach rated capacity properly.

Talk time shorter than expected after fitting the new battery

A fresh Li-ion cell often delivers slightly below rated capacity for the first two to three cycles. This happens because the cell's electrolyte hasn't fully wetted the electrode stack yet. Run the handset through three complete charge and discharge cycles on the base station. By the fourth cycle, the cell typically stabilises at its rated 500mAh output.

TX-D7950 handset losing pairing with base station after battery swap

Removing the battery cuts all power to the handset, including the volatile memory holding the DECT pairing record. Some TX-D7950 units drop the base registration when power is fully interrupted. To re-pair, press and hold the paging button on the base unit until the base enters registration mode, then follow the handset pairing sequence from the menu. The process takes under two minutes and does not affect call logs stored on the base.

Frequently Asked Questions

My TX-D7950 base station shows no charge light after I fitted the new battery — is the battery faulty?

Probably not. Li-ion cells drop to a low resting voltage during storage and shipping, and some base stations won't show a charge indicator until the cell rises above their acceptance threshold. Seat the handset firmly in the cradle and wait 20–30 minutes — the charge light typically appears once the cell clears around 3.4V. If the light still doesn't show, reseat the handset and check the contact pins on both the handset and the cradle are clean and unobstructed.

The TX-D7950 handset battery drains completely overnight even when it's sitting in the base — what's causing that?

This points to a seating issue rather than the battery itself. If the handset isn't fully clicked into the cradle, the charge contacts don't make a consistent connection and the cell slowly discharges through the handset's standby draw instead of topping up. Press the handset down firmly until you feel or hear it seat, then check the charge indicator appears on the base. If the cradle contacts look oxidised, clean them with a dry cotton swab before reseating.

The TX-D7950 range dropped noticeably after I swapped the battery — the signal cuts out further from the base than it used to.

DECT transmit power in the handset is drawn directly from the battery cell. When a Li-ion cell hasn't completed its first few charge cycles, its voltage sags slightly under the RF transmit load — enough to reduce effective range. Run three full charge and discharge cycles on the base station first. Once the cell stabilises at its full 3.7V nominal output under load, the transmit power returns to normal and range recovers.
