Telekom T-Easy C310 — 2.4V Ni-MH Replacement Battery

This is a 2.4V, 500mAh Ni-MH replacement battery for the Telekom T-Easy C310 cordless telephone handset. It restores power to a handset with a depleted or dead original pack. Dimensions are 35 x 33 x 7mm — confirm against your existing battery before fitting.

• T-Easy C310 fit: The C310 handset runs on a compact 2-cell Ni-MH pack at 2.4V nominal. The base station charges at a current matched to that voltage window — swapping to a different voltage or chemistry will cause the charging circuit to reject the pack or charge it incorrectly.
• Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack on a DECT phone test rig. The cell voltage held steady through standby draw and peaked correctly during charge termination. The base station accepted the pack without a charge error on all test units.
• First-charge protocol for Ni-MH cordless packs: After installing, seat the handset in the base and leave it for a full 16 hours before first use. Ni-MH cells arrive partially discharged from storage — a slow first charge lets the cells reach rated capacity. Skipping this step will result in shorter talk time on the first several cycles.

Talk time shorter than the original battery after replacement

Ni-MH cells do not deliver full rated capacity straight out of the box. Capacity builds over the first 3 to 5 full charge-discharge cycles. On cycle one, you may get noticeably less talk time than expected — this is normal cell behaviour, not a faulty battery. Run the handset down and charge fully at least three times to reach rated capacity.

A Ni-MH pack that has sat in storage drops below the voltage the base station expects to see at the charging contacts. Some DECT base stations interpret this low resting voltage as an absent or incompatible battery and flash an error light instead of beginning a charge cycle. Remove the handset, wait 10 seconds, and re-seat it firmly — ensure the contacts are clean and fully touching. If the error persists, check the resting voltage of the pack at the terminals; it should read at least 2.0V for the base to accept it.
