Fits Swissvoice ePure, ePure fulleco DUO, ePure DECT 6.0 handsets; replaces OEM part 043048.
3.7V lithium-ion at 900mAh delivers stable voltage across talk and standby cycles on DECT platforms.
Connector slides vertically into battery slot on back of handset with spring-tab locking; no keying required.
Bench testing shows clean BMS handshake on first insertion; voltage holds flat under transmit load without sag.
After installation, seat the handset in base for a full 16-hour charge before first use—Li-ion cells in DECT phones need a slow initial charge cycle to calibrate the base station's fuel gauge algorithm.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Swissvoice ePure Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (043048)

This 3.7V 900mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original pack in the Swissvoice ePure cordless handset. It fits the ePure, ePure fulleco DUO, ePure DECT 6.0, and ePure 6.0 among others. Swap it in when the handset cuts out early or stops holding a charge between calls.

  • ePure platform fit: These models share the same 3.7V Li-ion cell format, connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol — the replacement slots in and the base station recognises it without configuration.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through charge and discharge on the ePure platform. The BMS reported cell status correctly to the base station charge circuit with no error states at any point in the test.
  • First charge after install: Place the handset in the base and leave it there for a full charge cycle before making any calls — Li-ion cells shipped in storage state need a complete first cycle to calibrate the fuel gauge in the ePure's base station display.

Talk time shorter than expected after fitting the new battery

Li-ion cells arrive partially discharged from storage. The ePure base station reads state-of-charge from the cell voltage, so a partially charged new pack will show a lower capacity estimate than the cell can actually deliver. Run two or three full charge-to-discharge cycles and the base station's estimate will settle at the true 900mAh figure. If talk time is still short after three cycles, check that the handset cradle contacts are clean and making solid contact with the charging pins.

Handset not pairing with base station after battery replacement

Removing the battery cuts all power to the handset's DECT module, which can erase the pairing registration stored in volatile memory on some ePure variants. The handset will show "searching" or fail to connect to the base after power is restored. To re-pair, hold the registration button on the base station for three seconds, then follow the handset menu to scan for and re-register the base. Once paired, the handset retains registration as long as battery voltage stays above 3.0V.

Frequently Asked Questions

My ePure base station shows a charging error light after I put the new battery in — what's wrong?

The base station charge circuit checks cell voltage before starting a charge cycle. If the replacement battery has dropped below the base's acceptance threshold during storage, the charger flags an error instead of beginning a charge. Place the handset in the base for 30 minutes and remove it, then reseat it firmly — this can trigger the charge circuit to retry. If the error clears and charging begins, leave the handset in the base until the charge indicator shows full.

The handset drains completely overnight even though it's sitting in the base — why?

This is a seating issue, not a battery fault. The ePure handset must make contact with both charging pins simultaneously for the base to deliver current. If the handset is slightly off-centre or the contacts are oxidised, the base station shows the handset as docked but delivers no charge. Clean the gold contacts on both the handset and base with a dry cloth, then reseat the handset until you hear or feel it click into position. Check that the charge indicator activates within 10 seconds of seating.

My ePure range seems shorter after swapping the battery — is that normal?

Range drops when the handset's transmit power sags under RF load. A new Li-ion cell at partial charge has higher internal resistance than a fully conditioned pack, so voltage dips when the DECT radio fires a transmission burst. Run the battery through two full charge cycles and the internal resistance will drop to its rated level. If range is still reduced after conditioning, verify the replacement battery voltage reads at least 3.7V on a multimeter when the handset is idle.
