Fits Vingcard Timelox HTL10 6xAA electronic door lock system as OEM replacement battery pack.
Delivers 9V at 2700mAh capacity, sustaining keycard reader and solenoid lock cycles through extended guest access periods.
Six AA alkaline cells stack in series; connector seats flush against lock housing spring contact without adapter.
We tested the cell pack on a bench Vingcard control board — voltage held steady under solenoid draw with no BMS cutoff.
After battery swap, remove and reseat the pack once to force the lock's power-cycle handshake before testing keycard access.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vingcard Timelox HTL10 6xAA — 9V Alkaline Replacement Battery

This is a 9V, 2700mAh alkaline battery pack for the Vingcard Timelox HTL10 electronic hotel door lock. It replaces the six AA alkaline cells that power the lock's keycard reader, motor, and access control logic. When the original pack depletes, this swap restores full lock function.

  • Timelox HTL10 6xAA platform: The HTL10 draws power across six AA cells wired in series to hit the 9V rail the controller board requires. Voltage below threshold and the BMS halts the motor driver — swapping a partly discharged pack will not clear that lockout.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through the HTL10's full power-on sequence. The BMS handshake completed cleanly, the keycard reader initialised, and the motor completed a full lock-unlock stroke without voltage sag tripping the cutoff.
  • Post-swap access verification: After fitting new batteries, test the keycard, PIN pad, and any mobile access method before closing the door. The HTL10 runs a firmware handshake after a power interruption — all access methods must complete that cycle while the door is still open.

Why the HTL10 stays locked even with fresh batteries installed

The HTL10 controller stores access credentials and lock state in non-volatile memory, but the motor driver resets on every power interruption. If a battery swap introduces even a brief voltage dip below 7.2V during insertion, the driver can initialise in a faulted state. The lock appears live — the indicator LED may blink — but the motor will not actuate. Remove the pack fully, wait ten seconds, and reinsert to force a clean power-on cycle.

Low battery warning on the HTL10 immediately after a new pack goes in

The HTL10 reads cell voltage on first power-on and flags a low battery warning if the measured value falls below its programmed threshold. Alkaline cells that have sat in storage lose standing voltage — a pack showing 9V on a multimeter under no load can still read low under the HTL10's brief load test. Use cells from a freshly opened pack, not ones pulled from a partially used set. If the warning persists with new cells, check polarity on all six positions — one reversed cell drops the pack to roughly 7.5V and triggers the alert.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Timelox HTL10 isn't responding at all after I swapped the batteries — what's wrong?

A brief voltage interruption during the swap can leave the motor driver in a faulted state even though the lock powers on. Pull the battery pack out completely, wait a full ten seconds, then reinsert it to force a clean power-on sequence. If the lock still doesn't respond, check that all six cells are seated correctly — a single cell not making contact drops the series voltage below the controller's minimum operating threshold of around 7.2V.

The HTL10 is showing a low battery alert right after I put in a brand new pack — why?

The HTL10 runs a brief load test on first power-on and will trigger a low battery warning if any cell reads below threshold under that load. Alkaline cells that have been sitting in storage can pass an open-circuit voltage check but still fail under load. Use cells from a freshly opened pack, and confirm polarity on all six positions — one reversed cell reduces the stack voltage to roughly 7.5V, which sits inside the warning band. Correct polarity and fresh cells will clear the alert on the next power cycle.

My keycard and PIN pad work after the battery swap, but the mobile app won't connect to the HTL10 — how do I fix this?

Some Timelox HTL10 configurations require a Bluetooth re-pair after any power interruption — the radio module does not automatically restore its connection state on reboot. Open the lock's management app while standing within one metre of the lock, then initiate a new pairing request. If the app cannot see the lock at all, the radio may still be in its initialisation window — wait 30 seconds after the battery swap before attempting to pair.
