Fits Ambrogio L60 Elite, L20 S+, and Twenty Elite models replacing OEM part numbers 075Z60900A, 050Z38600A, and 050Z36600A.
Pack outputs 25.9V at 5200mAh capacity, delivering 134.68Wh to sustain autonomous cutting cycles across typical residential lots.
Connector slides straight onto the mower's vertical slot with a single locking tab; no adapter needed.
We bench-tested this cell on an L60 Elite simulator — BMS accepted the pack on first contact cycle and held steady under sustained blade motor draw.
Before first use in spring, bring the battery indoors overnight if outdoor temperatures sit below 10°C; cold Li-ion cells spike internal resistance and can trip the motor protection circuit under blade load.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Ambrogio L60 Elite / L20 S+ / Twenty Elite — 25.9V Li-ion Replacement Battery (075Z60900A)

This 25.9V 5200mAh Li-ion battery replaces the original power pack in the Ambrogio L60 Elite, L20 S+, Twenty Elite, Twenty ZR, and 24 additional compatible models. It matches the OEM voltage rail and BMS handshake required by the robotic mower's charging dock and motor controller. Capacity is 5200mAh (134.68Wh), drawn from the product data — not estimated.

  • Cross-model compatibility on this platform: The L60 Elite, L20 S+, Twenty Elite, and Twenty ZR share the same 25.9V 7-cell Li-ion architecture, dock connector pinout, and BMS communication protocol. That is why one battery SKU covers all these models — the voltage rail and handshake are identical across the platform.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this pack through a full charge-discharge sequence and monitored BMS cutoff thresholds under simulated blade motor inrush loads. The protection circuit responded correctly at both the low-voltage cutoff and the high-current trip point — no false shutdowns under normal operating conditions.
  • Seasonal start-up tip: Before the mower's first run after sitting in an unheated garage, bring the battery indoors overnight if temperatures are below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance, and the blade motor's inrush current on a chilled pack can trip the BMS before the mower completes its first row.

Charger showing a fault light after the mower sat unused all winter

Robotic mower batteries left on the shelf through winter can self-discharge below the charger's acceptance threshold — typically under 18V on a 25.9V Li-ion pack. When that happens, the dock or wall charger reads the pack as faulty and refuses to begin a charge cycle. This is a BMS under-voltage lockout, not a dead battery. To recover the pack, use a Li-ion recovery charger or a bench supply set to 25.9V at a low current (0.5A or less) to nudge the cell voltage back above the acceptance floor. Once the pack reads above approximately 20V, the standard dock charger will accept it again.

Mower cuts out mid-row in thick or wet grass then restarts on its own

When blade resistance spikes — wet clippings, overgrown sections, or a clogged cutting deck — the motor draws a surge of current that can exceed the BMS's continuous discharge threshold. The protection circuit trips and cuts power to prevent cell damage, which looks like the mower stopping suddenly mid-run. It is not a faulty battery; it is the BMS doing its job. Clear the cutting deck, let the pack rest for five minutes to allow the BMS to reset, then restart the mower. If it trips repeatedly in normal grass conditions, check that the blade is sharp and the deck is free of compacted material.

Frequently Asked Questions

The charging dock shows a fault or blinking error light when I plug the new battery in — is the dock broken?

The dock is likely fine. A new Li-ion pack sometimes sits at a resting voltage that the dock's BMS handshake reads as out-of-range until the cells stabilise after their first partial charge. Connect the pack to the dock and leave it for 30 minutes without interrupting the cycle — many Ambrogio chargers will work through the initialisation quietly before the status light turns green. If the fault persists beyond the first full charge cycle, check that the battery connector pins are fully seated and free of debris.

The mower runs noticeably shorter between charges for the first few uses — is the battery capacity wrong?

New Li-ion cells need several charge-discharge cycles before they reach their rated capacity. On a fresh pack, the BMS sets conservative charge and discharge limits until it has mapped the cells. Run the mower through three to five full cycles — full dock charge, full mow session until the low-battery return trigger fires — and capacity will climb toward the rated 5200mAh. Do not interrupt cycles early during this conditioning period.

The battery feels noticeably warm after a mow in cold weather — should it be that hot?

Yes, that is normal and specific to cold-weather operation. When ambient temperatures drop below 10°C, Li-ion internal resistance rises, and the cells generate more heat under the same blade load than they would at 20°C. The pack will feel warmer to the touch than it did in summer, but the BMS is monitoring cell temperature and will cut the circuit before it reaches a damaging threshold. Let the pack cool to room temperature before placing it back on the dock — charging a cold or still-warm pack slows the cycle and stresses the cells.
