Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Husqvarna 110iL Series — 36V Li-ion Replacement Battery (967 07 19-01)
This is a 36V 5000mAh (180Wh) Li-ion replacement battery for the Husqvarna 110iL and compatible cordless outdoor power equipment including the 115iHD45, 115iHD55, and 115iL. It replaces OEM part numbers 967 07 19-01, 967 09 18-01, 967 09 19-01, 967 24 18-01, and BLi series packs including BLi20, BLi50, BLi100, and BLi200. The battery slots into the same dock as the original and communicates with the tool's BMS over the same data line.
- BLi series compatibility: The 110iL, 115iHD, and 115iL share the same 36V battery dock, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. Any tool in this family that accepts a BLi10 through BLi200 pack will accept this battery — same voltage rail, same communication lines.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through full discharge cycles on a 110iL under simulated blade load. The BMS held stable throughout draw spikes, balancing cells correctly at the top of charge and cutting off cleanly at low-voltage threshold.
- Seasonal storage tip: Before the first mow of spring, bring the battery indoors overnight if temperatures are below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells have higher internal resistance, and the blade motor's inrush current on startup can trip the BMS on a pack that hasn't warmed to room temperature.
BMS cutoff under thick-grass and wet-grass blade load
The 110iL's blade motor pulls significantly more current through dense or wet grass than on a dry, short lawn. When that inrush spike exceeds the BMS current threshold — even briefly — the pack shuts down as a protective measure. This isn't a battery fault; it's the BMS doing its job. Let the tool sit for 30 seconds before restarting, and reduce forward speed through the heavy section to keep draw below the trip point.
Charger shows fault light after battery sat in storage all winter
Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly over months of inactivity. If a pack drops below approximately 2.5V per cell over winter, most chargers enter a fault state and refuse to charge — the voltage is too low for the charger's acceptance window. Place the battery in a warm room (above 15°C) for two hours, then reconnect to the charger. If the charger still won't accept it after two attempts, the cells have dropped below safe recovery voltage and the pack needs replacing.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Husqvarna 110iL cuts out halfway through a row, then starts again after a minute — what's causing that?
This is thermal protection cutting in, not a cell fault. The blade motor generates heat under sustained load, and the BMS trips the pack once internal temperature hits the protection threshold. A 5-minute cooldown lets the cells drop back below that threshold and the mower restarts normally. If it's happening on every row, check that the blade isn't dulled — a blunt blade forces the motor to work harder and pulls more current on every pass.
The new battery feels noticeably warmer than my old one after a full mow — is that normal?
Yes, for the first several cycles. Fresh Li-ion cells haven't settled into their charge and discharge pattern yet, and new packs run slightly warmer than conditioned ones during early use. After five full cycles the heat output normalises. If the pack is too hot to hold comfortably against your palm after cycle six or later, check that the battery dock contacts are clean and making full contact — a high-resistance connection forces the cells to work harder.
The 110iL loses power noticeably faster on cold mornings than it does in summer — is the battery faulty?
No — this is normal Li-ion behaviour below 10°C. Cold temperatures raise internal cell resistance, which reduces available capacity and causes the BMS to trip the low-voltage cutoff sooner than it would at 20°C. Store the battery indoors overnight before an early-morning mow. Once the pack reaches room temperature, capacity returns to its full rated level.
