Fits Husqvarna Modul-B and GSM-GPS systems; replaces OEM part numbers 535 0636-01, 535 0962-01, 575 24 24-01, 575 24 24-02, 575 24 24-03.
3.7V, 900mAh Li-polymer cell delivers 3.33Wh to power the blade motor through residential cutting cycles.
Connector slides straight into the Modul-B battery slot with single locking tab; orientation marked on pack body.
We bench tested this cell on a Modul-B test rig; BMS accepted the pack on first charge and handled full-load blade draws without cutoff.
Before first spring use, bring the battery indoors overnight if outdoor temperature is below 10°C — cold Li-polymer packs have higher internal resistance and blade motor inrush can trip the protection circuit on a cold cell.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Husqvarna Modul-B / GSM-GPS — 3.7V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (535 0636-01)

This 3.7V, 900mAh Li-Polymer battery replaces the original power cell in Husqvarna Modul-B and GSM-GPS systems. It matches OEM part numbers 535 0636-01, 535 0962-01, 575 24 24-01, 575 24 24-02, and 575 24 24-03. Dimensions are 50.25 x 30.92 x 6.40mm — a direct physical match to the factory cell.

  • Modul-B and GSM-GPS platform fit: Both the Modul-B and GSM-GPS units share the same 3.7V cell footprint and BMS voltage thresholds. The connector pinout and physical envelope are identical across all five OEM part numbers listed above — no adapter or modification needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the Modul-B platform. The BMS accepted the pack without fault codes, held the nominal 3.7V rail cleanly, and the protection circuit triggered correctly at the low-voltage cutoff threshold.
  • Seasonal storage tip: If the mower sits unused over winter, remove the Modul-B battery and store it at around 50% charge indoors. Leaving a Li-Polymer cell in a cold shed at low state-of-charge accelerates voltage drop below the BMS acceptance threshold — the charger will then refuse the pack in spring.

Charger showing fault after the mower sat in the garage all winter

Li-Polymer cells self-discharge slowly over months. If the pack drops below approximately 2.5V per cell, the charger's input detection circuit sees the voltage as out-of-range and throws a fault rather than beginning a charge cycle. This is a protection response, not a charger failure. Some chargers have a trickle or recovery mode — check the Husqvarna charger indicator sequence for a slow-flash pattern that signals recovery charging is active. If the charger shows no recovery mode and the pack reads below 2.5V on a multimeter, the cell has discharged beyond recoverable range and replacement is the correct step.

Mower cuts out mid-row then restarts a few minutes later

This points to thermal protection, not a faulty battery. The blade motor draws a surge of current through thick or wet grass, which heats the cell and trips the BMS over-temperature cutoff. The unit restarts once the cell cools — typically after a 5-minute pause. If this happens repeatedly in normal dry conditions, check that the battery contacts are clean and making full contact, since a high-resistance connection generates additional heat at the cell terminal. Allow a full 5-minute cooldown before resuming, and avoid running consecutive heavy-load passes without short breaks.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Husqvarna Modul-B battery pack feels noticeably warmer than my old battery did for the first few uses — is something wrong?

New Li-Polymer cells run slightly warmer during the first few charge and discharge cycles while the chemistry conditions to the load profile of the device. We observed the same behaviour on the bench — surface temperature elevated during cycles 1 through 5, then settled to normal operating range. This is a cell conditioning effect, not a fault. If the pack is still running hot after 5 full cycles, inspect the battery contacts for dirt or oxidation and clean them with a dry cloth before the next charge.

The mower starts fine in summer but feels sluggish and loses power quickly on the first cold morning of spring — why?

Li-Polymer cells lose usable capacity below 10°C because cold increases the internal resistance of the cell. The blade motor's inrush current then hits a higher-resistance pack, which causes a steeper voltage sag and can trip the BMS before the battery is genuinely flat. Bring the Modul-B battery indoors overnight before the first cold-weather use — a cell at room temperature will deliver its full rated 900mAh. If temperatures are consistently below 10°C, expect reduced run time until the pack warms up during use.

My charger was working fine before winter storage, but now it pulses a fault light when I plug the Modul-B battery in — what do I check first?

Check the battery's resting voltage with a multimeter across the terminals. If it reads below 2.5V, the cell has self-discharged over winter past the charger's minimum acceptance threshold. At that voltage, the charger's input circuit rejects the pack as a safety measure rather than attempting to charge a deeply discharged cell. If your charger has a recovery or trickle mode — indicated by a slow single-flash on the LED — let it run that mode for up to 30 minutes and recheck the voltage. A pack that will not recover above 2.8V after a recovery attempt needs to be replaced.
