Fits Greenworks 82C2, 82V220, 82V290, and 82V430G battery slot models.
80V 4000mAh Li-ion delivers 320Wh capacity for residential mowing without mid-session recharge.
Slide-lock connector seats flat into the 82V tool platform with no rotational play.
We ran full-discharge cycles on the 82C2 blade motor — BMS held steady under normal load and cut correctly without nuisance shutdowns.
If the mower cuts out mid-row then restarts after sitting five minutes, the pack has hit thermal protection — let it cool before resuming full throttle blade operation.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Remarc 82C2 / KM Domus 82V / Nimbus 82V — 80V Li-ion Replacement Battery (82V430G)

This is an 80V Li-ion replacement battery rated at 4000mAh (320Wh), built to fit Greenworks 82V cordless lawn mowers including the 82C2, KM Domus 82V, and Nimbus 82V. It slots into the same battery port as the original pack and communicates with the mower's existing BMS handshake. Voltage and cell count match the 82V platform specification.

  • 82C2, KM Domus 82V, and Nimbus 82V platform fit: These three models share the same 80V battery rail, connector housing, and BMS communication protocol. One pack covers all three without adapter or modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this pack through simulated blade-motor inrush draws on the 82V platform. The BMS held under normal load cycling and responded correctly to thermal cutoff conditions without nuisance trips.
  • Seasonal storage tip: Before the first mow of the season, bring this battery indoors overnight if temperatures are below 10°C. Cold Li-ion cells carry higher internal resistance, and the blade motor's inrush current on startup can trip the BMS on a cold pack before it ever reaches full power.

BMS cutoff under thick grass or wet-lawn blade load

The 82V blade motor draws a large inrush current every time it bites into dense or wet grass. If that spike exceeds the BMS overcurrent threshold — which sits lower when cells are already warm — the pack shuts down as a protection measure. This is not a fault with the battery. Let the pack rest for five minutes, then resume mowing at a slower walking pace through the heavy section. Keeping blade speed consistent reduces the amplitude of those current spikes.

Charger shows fault light after the mower sat unused all winter

Li-ion cells self-discharge slowly in storage. After months in a cold garage, a pack can drop below the charger's minimum acceptance voltage — typically around 60V on the 82V platform — and the charger interprets it as a damaged cell and throws a fault. To recover, try a different compatible 82V charger if one is available, as some units have a recovery mode that pulses low current until the pack climbs back above the acceptance threshold. If the pack reaches approximately 65V, the standard charger should take over and complete the charge normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Greenworks 82C2 cuts out halfway through a row of long grass, then starts again after I wait — is something wrong with the new battery?

Nothing is wrong. The blade motor draws a heavy current spike in thick grass, and when cell temperature climbs, the BMS lowers its cutoff threshold to protect the pack — triggering a shutdown. After a five-minute cooldown the pack resets and the mower restarts normally. Walk slightly slower through dense sections to reduce the load spike and keep the BMS from tripping.

I left my old 82V pack in the garage all winter and the charger is now showing a fault light — will this replacement battery do the same thing?

Any Li-ion pack — including this one — will self-discharge below the charger's acceptance voltage if stored for several months without a top-up charge. The charger sees the low voltage and flags it as a fault rather than beginning a full charge. Store this replacement at roughly 50–60% charge in a cool indoor location between seasons, and connect it to the charger for a brief top-up every two to three months to keep cells above the acceptance threshold.

The new battery feels noticeably warmer than my old one did after mowing — should I be concerned?

New cells generate slightly more heat during the first several charge and discharge cycles while their internal resistance stabilises. This is normal and typically settles after five full cycles. If the pack becomes too hot to hold comfortably, that points to a thermal protection event — stop mowing, let the pack cool in the shade for ten minutes, and check that the battery vents on the housing are not blocked by grass clippings. Surface temperature should return to normal within the first few uses.
