Fits BLU Neo X and N070u models; replaces OEM part C825837200L.
3.7V lithium-ion cell rated 1450mAh delivers sufficient charge for standard daily use on this smartphone.
Connector slides vertically into the battery slot; locking tab seats flush against the device frame.
We bench-tested this cell in the Neo X; the fuel gauge IC required one full discharge-charge cycle to recalibrate against the new pack's discharge curve.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the coulomb counter recalibrate against the new cell curve before high-current charging stresses an uncalibrated BMS.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU Neo X / N070u — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (C825837200L)

This is a 3.7V, 1450mAh (5.37Wh) Li-ion battery for the BLU Neo X and N070u smartphones. It replaces OEM part C825837200L. The cell matches the original's physical dimensions — 82.02 × 57.75 × 3.22mm — so it seats correctly in the battery bay without modification.

  • Neo X and N070u compatibility: Both model designations share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers both variants.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through a full charge-discharge sequence on a Neo X unit. The BMS accepted the cell without fault flags, and the charge IC reached termination voltage correctly at 4.2V.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first cycle: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging begins on an uncalibrated state-of-charge register.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the BLU Neo X after a cell swap

This happens because the fuel gauge IC is still reading the old cell's voltage-to-capacity curve. When the modem fires up during a call or the screen hits full brightness, current draw spikes and the new cell's terminal voltage drops faster than the IC expects. The phone interprets this as a critical low-voltage event and shuts down — even though the displayed percentage read 20% or higher. Run one full discharge to below 5% followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% to push the coulomb counter through a complete calibration cycle.

BLU Neo X not powering on after the battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell voltage dropped below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent unsafe charging of a deeply discharged cell. Plugging straight into a fast charger won't override this — the BMS will block the charge path. Connect to a low-current USB source, such as a PC USB-A port, for 15–20 minutes first. This trickle input nudges the cell voltage above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.9V, at which point normal charging resumes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my BLU Neo X shut off suddenly when the battery still shows 25%?

The fuel gauge IC is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it misjudges the new cell's actual state of charge. Under high load — modem, screen, GPS firing together — the new cell's voltage sags faster than the IC predicts, triggering a low-voltage shutdown. This is a calibration gap, not a faulty battery. Run one full uninterrupted cycle: drain to below 5%, then charge to 100% without unplugging early.

Fast charging stopped working after I installed this replacement battery on the Neo X — why?

On the first cycle after a cell swap, the BMS on the new cell may not complete the handshake with the phone's charge IC fast enough for the proprietary fast-charge protocol to engage. The IC defaults to standard 5V charging as a safe fallback. This typically clears after one full standard charge cycle. After that cycle completes, reconnect the charger and fast charging should negotiate correctly.

The battery percentage on my Neo X is jumping around erratically — it went from 60% to 38% without me doing anything.

The coulomb counter inside the fuel gauge IC lost its reference point when the old cell was removed. It has no accurate baseline for the new cell's capacity, so percentage readings are unreliable until it recalibrates. The fix is one complete discharge-charge cycle: let the phone run down to auto-shutdown, then charge in one uninterrupted session to 100%. After that cycle the IC anchors its count to the new cell's actual capacity and the percentage readout stabilises.
