Fits Kyocera DuraSport 5G UW and C6930 models replacing OEM part 5AAXBT141GEA.
Rated 3.87V 3500mAh — this restores full charge capacity on the original fuel gauge calibration curve.
Connector and locking tab match Kyocera's battery slot; seats flush without forcing or adapters.
We ran full discharge and recharge cycles on a test unit; BMS accepted the cell without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Kyocera DuraSport 5G UW / C6930 — 3.87V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (5AAXBT141GEA)

This is a 3.87V, 3500mAh Li-Polymer cell that replaces the original battery in the Kyocera DuraSport 5G UW and C6930 smartphones. It fits both OEM part numbers 5AAXBT141GEA and SCP-75LBPS. Use it when the original cell no longer holds a charge through a normal day of calls, messaging, and app use.

  • DuraSport 5G UW and C6930 fit: Both models run the same battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The voltage rail and cell format are identical across the two variants, so one cell covers both.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through full charge and discharge cycles on a DuraSport 5G UW unit. The BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes, and the fuel gauge IC completed its initial calibration pass without interruption.
  • First-cycle fast charge disable: On first use after installation, turn off fast charging in the device settings and run one complete discharge-charge cycle at standard rate. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on a replacement cell

This happens because the fuel gauge IC inside the DuraSport is still running a discharge curve calibrated to the old, degraded cell. When the new cell voltage drops under modem or screen load, it hits a point the IC reads as critical cutoff — even though the cell has remaining capacity. The phone shuts down to protect what it thinks is a near-empty battery. One full discharge-charge cycle at standard rate resets the coulomb counter and maps the new cell's actual voltage floor. After that cycle, shutdowns at 20–30% should stop.

USB-PD fast charge not activating after replacement

After a cell swap, the BMS on the new battery needs to complete one standard charge handshake before it will negotiate the USB-PD fast charge protocol with the phone's charge IC. On the first cycle, the charger defaults to standard 5V input because the BMS has not yet validated its internal temperature and voltage flags. Plug in using a standard 5W charger for the first full charge cycle. On the second cycle, reconnect your fast charger — the BMS will now accept the higher voltage negotiation and fast charging will resume normally.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Kyocera DuraSport 5G UW replaced the battery but the percentage jumps around erratically — is something wrong with the new cell?

Nothing is wrong with the cell itself. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the discharge curve of the old battery, so the coulomb counter reads the new cell's voltage steps incorrectly and reports unstable percentages. Run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% at standard rate without fast charging enabled. After that single cycle, the IC recalibrates against the new cell and the percentage readout stabilises.

The DuraSport 5G UW gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges after a swap — is that normal?

Yes, and it has a specific cause. A fresh Li-Polymer cell starts with slightly higher internal impedance than a cell that has been cycled. The charge IC pushes current into that higher impedance, and the extra resistance converts some energy to heat. This is most pronounced in the first two to three charge cycles and drops off as the cell's impedance settles. If warmth continues past the third full charge cycle or the phone logs a thermal warning, check that the replacement cell is seated flat with no gap at the connector.

My DuraSport 5G UW won't power on at all after the new battery sat in a drawer for a few months before installation — how do I recover it?

A Li-Polymer cell stored uncharged can drop below 2.5V per cell, which triggers BMS lockout to prevent damage. The phone will not respond to the power button and may not show a charging indicator immediately. Connect it to a standard 5W USB charger — not a fast charger — and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes without pressing anything. The BMS uses a trickle pre-charge mode to bring the cell above the lockout threshold; once it clears roughly 3.0V per cell, the phone will show the charging screen and power on normally.
