Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

T-Mobile TMAF025G / Revvl 6 5G — 3.85V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (RE001)
This is a 3.85V, 4000mAh (15.4Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the T-Mobile TMAF025G and Revvl 6 5G smartphones. It replaces the original RE001 cell when the existing battery no longer holds a usable charge. Dimensions are 87.20 × 64.00 × 4.20mm — confirm before ordering if you have an aftermarket shell.
- TMAF025G and Revvl 6 5G compatibility: Both model names refer to the same hardware platform. They share the same battery bay, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol, so one cell covers both SKUs without modification.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge-discharge cycle on a Revvl 6 5G unit. The BMS accepted charge current correctly, reported state-of-charge to the OS without error flags, and held voltage above 3.6V through the mid-cycle load.
- First-cycle fast charge protocol: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. The fuel gauge IC is calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. Running a slow cycle first lets the coulomb counter re-anchor to the new cell before high-current fast charging begins.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Revvl 6 5G after a cell swap
This happens because the fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve of the original degraded cell. When load spikes — 5G modem, screen at full brightness, background sync — the new cell's voltage drops faster than the IC expects at that state-of-charge. The phone reads the voltage dip as a near-empty condition and triggers an emergency shutdown. One full slow discharge to automatic power-off, followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, resets the coulomb counter and stops the early shutdowns.
Battery percentage jumping erratically after replacement
Erratic percentage readings — jumping from 60% to 40% or spiking upward mid-discharge — point to a fuel gauge IC that hasn't mapped the new cell yet. The IC uses a stored charge curve from the old cell to estimate remaining capacity, and a fresh cell with different internal resistance throws those estimates off. This is not a faulty battery. Perform two full uninterrupted discharge-to-shutdown and charge-to-100% cycles with fast charging disabled. After the second cycle, readings stabilise as the IC completes recalibration.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Revvl 6 5G won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?
Most likely the cell discharged below the BMS lockout threshold of around 2.5V during storage, and the protection circuit has cut output entirely. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs time to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will re-enable discharge. If the charging LED comes on within that window, the cell is recovering; leave it on charge until it reaches 3.7V before attempting to boot.
Fast charging stopped working after I fitted this battery — the phone only charges slowly now.
On the first cycle after a cell swap, the USB-PD negotiation layer on the Revvl 6 5G can default to standard 5V charging because the BMS hasn't completed its first handshake with the charge IC. This is expected behaviour, not a hardware fault. Complete one full charge to 100% at the slow rate, then unplug and reboot the phone. Reconnect the charger — the fast charge protocol should re-negotiate correctly from the second cycle onward.
The phone feels noticeably warm near the battery area while charging — is something wrong with this cell?
A new Li-Polymer cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so it generates more heat during the first few charge cycles as current pushes through a cell the charge IC hasn't profiled yet. Warmth in the 35–40°C range at the back of the phone is within normal limits for a new cell under charge. If the back of the device becomes hot to the touch or charging stops and restarts repeatedly, disconnect the charger and let the phone cool to room temperature before resuming — then check that no adhesive strip is blocking the thermal pad between the cell and the chassis.
