Fits LG VX1, VX10, TM520, and TM525 phones; replaces OEM part number LGLI-AATM.
3.7V, 1000mAh lithium-ion cell delivers standard talk and standby runtime on these early LG models.
Connector and locking tab match OEM hardware; installs without modification or adapter hardware.
We bench-tested this cell in a VX1 unit — BMS accepted the charge profile on first cycle, voltage held steady under call load.
On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without powering off the phone; this recalibrates the fuel gauge IC against the new cell discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

LG VX1 / TM520 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (LGLI-AATM)

This is a 3.7V, 1000mAh Li-ion battery that replaces the original LGLI-AATM cell. It fits the LG VX1, VX10, TM520, and TM525 mobile phones. Capacity is rated at 1000mAh (3.7Wh) — matching the original specification.

  • VX1, VX10, TM520, TM525 compatibility: These four models share the same battery bay dimensions, 3.7V single-cell architecture, and connector pinout. The LGLI-AATM form factor fits all four without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the TM520 platform. The BMS accepted the cell without error flags, and the charge IC completed a full cycle without interruption.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: Disable any fast-charge mode for the first complete discharge-charge cycle after installation. This allows the fuel gauge IC to recalibrate its discharge curve against the new cell before high-current charging is applied to an uncalibrated cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff issue. Under load — modem transmission bursts or screen-on current — the new cell's voltage drops sharply before the fuel gauge IC registers a low-battery state. The phone shuts down because actual cell voltage collapses below the cutoff threshold, even though the reported percentage looks acceptable. Run one full discharge to near-zero, then a full charge to 100% without interruption. After that cycle the fuel gauge IC maps the real discharge curve and the shutdowns stop.

Phone not powering on after the battery sat in storage

Li-ion cells in storage self-discharge over time. If the cell drops below approximately 2.5V, the BMS enters a lockout state and the phone will not power on or show a charge indicator. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charger trickle-feeds current at a safe rate until the cell climbs above the BMS re-enable threshold, at which point normal charging resumes. Target at least 3.0V before attempting to power on.

Frequently Asked Questions

My LG TM520 shuts off at around 25% battery — was the replacement cell faulty?

The cell is not faulty. The fuel gauge IC on these phones calibrates its percentage readout against the original cell's discharge curve. A new cell has a slightly different curve, so the IC underestimates remaining voltage under load and triggers shutdown before the display reaches 0%. Run one full discharge — use the phone until it shuts itself off — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. That single cycle recalibrates the coulomb counter and the early shutdowns stop.

The VX1 won't turn on at all after I installed the new battery — no screen, no charging indicator.

If the replacement cell voltage dropped below roughly 2.5V during shipping or storage, the BMS locks the cell out to prevent damage. Plug the phone directly into a wall charger and leave it untouched for at least 20 minutes — do not press the power button during this window. The charger delivers a trickle current that bypasses the lockout once the cell climbs above the re-enable threshold, typically around 3.0V. After that the phone will show the charging screen and boot normally.

The battery percentage on my TM525 is jumping around erratically — it goes from 60% to 40% in a few minutes.

Erratic percentage jumps are a fuel gauge IC recalibration symptom, not a cell defect. The IC's internal model of the cell's state of charge is mismatched to the new cell's actual impedance and discharge curve — it's making large corrections as it gathers real discharge data. Let the phone complete two or three full discharge-charge cycles without pulling the battery or resetting the device between cycles. The percentage readout stabilises once the fuel gauge IC has enough data points to build an accurate model of the replacement cell.
