Fits Navon Mizu M502 and Mizu D502 smartphones; replaces OEM part G55132.
3.8V, 2000mAh lithium-polymer cell restores full charge capacity to this handset.
Connector slides into the battery slot without locking tabs or orientation tricks.
We bench-tested the G55132 against a worn original; BMS fuel gauge accepted calibration on first full cycle.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell curve before high-current charging.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Navon Mizu M502 / D502 — 3.8V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (G55132)

This 3.8V, 2000mAh lithium-polymer battery replaces the OEM G55132 cell in the Navon Mizu M502 and Mizu D502 smartphones. Both models share the same battery bay dimensions and connector, making this a direct physical match at 76.90 × 59.00 × 4.04mm. Capacity is 7.6Wh — identical to the original spec.

  • Mizu M502 and D502 compatibility: Both the M502 and D502 run the same voltage rail and use the same G55132 footprint. The connector pinout and BMS handshake are identical across both models, so one cell covers the full pair.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge under screen-on and modem-active load conditions. The BMS held cutoff correctly at both ends — no early shutdown during the test sequence.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first installation, disable fast charging and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before resuming normal use. The fuel gauge IC on the Mizu M502 calibrates its coulomb counter against the cell's discharge curve — skipping this step causes the percentage to read inaccurately for the first several cycles.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the Mizu M502 after a cell swap

This happens when the fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve. The new cell's voltage drops faster under modem or display load than the IC expects, so it trips the low-voltage cutoff while still reporting 20–30% remaining. It is not a fault with the replacement cell. Run two full discharge-charge cycles without fast charging, and the coulomb counter will remap to the new cell's actual voltage profile.

Phone warm near the battery slot during the first charge after installation

A new lithium-polymer cell typically has higher internal impedance than a well-used one. During the first charge, the charge IC pushes current into that higher impedance, which generates more heat than normal. This is expected on cycle one and should reduce noticeably by cycle two or three. If the phone remains hot beyond the third full charge, check that the charge current has not been set above 1C — on the Mizu M502, that means staying at or below 2000mA input during charging.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Navon Mizu M502 shows 25% battery then switches off without warning — is the new cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. The Mizu M502's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve, so it cannot accurately predict the voltage cliff on a new cell. Under modem or screen load, voltage drops faster than the IC expects and triggers a hard cutoff. Run two complete discharge-charge cycles with fast charging disabled, and the coulomb counter will remap to the new cell — the early shutdowns stop once it does.

The percentage on my Mizu M502 is jumping around erratically after I swapped the battery — what is happening?

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating. When a new cell replaces an old one, the stored charge curve in the coulomb counter no longer matches reality, so the reported percentage jumps as the IC tries to reconcile measured voltage against an outdated model. This corrects itself after one or two full discharge-charge cycles. Let the phone drain to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% — repeat once and the gauge will stabilise.

Fast charging stopped working on my Mizu D502 after fitting the G55132 replacement — how do I fix it?

On the first cycle after installation, the charge IC may not complete the USB protocol negotiation with the new BMS, defaulting to standard 5V charging instead. This is a handshake timing issue, not a hardware fault. Disconnect the charger, power the phone off completely, then reconnect — this forces the charge IC to renegotiate from scratch. If fast charge still does not activate, complete one full standard charge cycle first, then retry.
