Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

OnePlus 12 / PJD110 — 7.82V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (BLPA25)

This is a 7.82V, 2630mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the OnePlus 12 (PJD110). It replaces OEM part BLPA25 and restores power to the phone's processor, display, and connectivity stack. Fit the cell when your original battery no longer holds a full charge or causes unexpected shutdowns.

  • OnePlus 12 and PJD110 compatibility: Both model designations run the same 7.82V nominal voltage rail with the same connector pinout and BMS handshake. One cell covers both variants — no adapter or wiring change needed.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through charge and discharge cycles on the OnePlus 12 platform. The BMS accepted the new cell without fault codes, and the fuel gauge IC began tracking state-of-charge from the first cycle without triggering a protection cutoff.
  • First-cycle fuel gauge reset: After installation, disable SUPERVOOC fast charging and run one full discharge-charge cycle at standard current. This gives the fuel gauge IC a clean reference curve for the new cell before high-current charging begins. Skipping this step can cause the percentage readout to jump or report inaccurately for the first week of use.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on a fresh cell

This is a voltage cliff, not a capacity fault. Under peak modem load or a high-brightness screen event, the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold faster than the fuel gauge expects — so the phone shuts off even though the percentage looks safe. The old cell's discharge curve is burned into the coulomb counter, and the new cell has a slightly different mid-range sag profile. One full discharge to near 0% followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100% resets the counter to the new curve and shifts the cutoff point back down where it belongs.

SUPERVOOC not activating after cell replacement

On the first charge after a cell swap, the OnePlus charge IC runs a brief impedance check on the new cell before handing off to the proprietary fast-charge protocol. If the cell impedance reads above a set threshold — common on a cold or unconditioned cell — the IC falls back to standard 5V charging and SUPERVOOC never negotiates. This is not a charger fault or a cable fault. Charge the phone once at standard current, let the cell warm slightly to operating temperature, then reconnect the SUPERVOOC adapter. The protocol should negotiate normally from the second cycle onward.

Frequently Asked Questions

My OnePlus 12 shuts off at around 25% after fitting the new battery — is the cell faulty?

The cell is almost certainly fine. This is a coulomb counter mismatch — the fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell, so it misjudges the voltage cliff on the new one. Run one complete discharge down to automatic shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100% without using the phone. That single cycle rewrites the reference curve and pushes the cutoff point back to the correct voltage, around 3.0V per cell.

The battery percentage is jumping around erratically — it reads 60%, then suddenly 45%, then back up to 55%.

This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against an unfamiliar cell. The IC uses a stored model of the old cell's charge-voltage curve, and the new cell's curve doesn't match. Until the counter resets, state-of-charge estimates drift. Complete one slow, full discharge-charge cycle with fast charging disabled. After that cycle, the IC has a real measured curve for the new cell and percentage reporting stabilises.

After replacing the battery my OnePlus 12 won't power on at all — just a dead screen.

If the cell sat in a warehouse for several months before installation, its voltage may have dropped below 2.5V per cell, which triggers BMS lockout. The phone won't boot from this state. Connect the original OnePlus charger — not a third-party cable — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing any buttons. The BMS uses a trickle pre-charge sequence to bring the cell back above the lockout threshold, typically around 2.8V, before handing control back to the phone's power IC. Once that threshold is cleared, the phone should power on normally.
