Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Siemens A31 / C65 / CXT65 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (EBA-660)
This is a 3.7V, 600mAh Li-ion replacement battery for Siemens mobile phones including the A31, C65, CF62T, and CXT65 series. It replaces OEM part numbers EBA-660, EBA-670, EBA-760, and related variants. Physical dimensions are 51.60 × 39.97 × 4.50mm — confirm these against your compartment before ordering.
- A31, C65, CXT65 platform fit: These models share the same battery bay dimensions, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail across the series. One cell covers the full range because Siemens standardised the power interface across this mid-2000s handset lineup.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on a C65 handset. The BMS accepted charge without flagging a fault, voltage held at 3.7V nominal through the full cycle, and the protection circuit triggered correctly at low-voltage cutoff.
- First-cycle fuel gauge reset on the A31 and C65: After fitting this cell, run one full discharge to auto-off followed by a complete uninterrupted charge before normal use. The phone's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to your old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle lets it re-map to the new cell and stop reporting inaccurate percentages.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the C65 and CXT65 after a cell replacement
This happens when the fuel gauge IC still holds the discharge curve of the original degraded cell. The new cell has a steeper voltage cliff under load — the phone's baseband radio draws a short current spike during a call or network search, voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold, and the phone shuts off even though the displayed percentage looks safe. The fix is a full calibration cycle: discharge the phone to auto-shutdown, then charge uninterrupted to 100%. After one complete cycle the fuel gauge re-maps its coulomb counter to the new cell and the false cutoffs stop.
Phone warm near the battery compartment during first charge
A new Li-ion cell has slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates more energy as heat during the first one or two cycles. On the A31 and C65 this shows up as warmth at the back cover near the battery bay — not the charging port. It typically resolves by the second or third charge cycle as impedance settles. If the phone stays hot past 40°C or the warmth moves toward the screen, stop charging and check that the battery is seated flat with no edge pressure on the contacts.

Frequently Asked Questions
My Siemens C65 shuts off mid-call even though the battery still shows 25% — is the new cell faulty?
The cell is not faulty — the fuel gauge IC is still using the discharge curve from your old degraded battery. When the baseband radio pulls current during a call, voltage dips sharply on a new cell and crosses the BMS cutoff before the percentage readout catches up. Run one full discharge to auto-shutdown followed by a complete charge to 100% without interruption. After that calibration cycle the shutdowns stop.
The Siemens A31 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for months — is it dead?
Most likely the cell discharged below 2.5V in storage and the BMS has locked out to protect the cell from further damage. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell before the BMS will re-enable the main output. Once voltage recovers above 3.0V the phone will boot normally. If there is no sign of life after 45 minutes on charge, check that the charger is delivering at least 5V at the connector.
The battery percentage on my CXT65 jumps around erratically — it was at 60%, then jumped to 40%, then back to 55% within a few minutes.
This is the fuel gauge IC recalibrating against a new cell it has never seen before. The coulomb counter inside the phone was tuned to the capacity fade profile of the original battery, so readings are unstable until it builds a new reference. Do not rely on the percentage display for the first two or three charge cycles. After two full discharge-charge cycles the jumping settles and the readout tracks accurately against the 600mAh cell capacity.
