Fits Siemens SX1 and SX1 McLaren phones; replaces OEM part numbers EBA-540, N6501-A100, and V30145-K1310-X260.
3.7V, 1200mAh lithium-ion cell delivers 4.44Wh for standard voice, messaging, and standby operation.
Connector slides straight into the battery slot with positive terminal facing outward; locking tab secures flush against the compartment wall.
We bench-tested the pack on charge cycles up to 80% capacity; BMS accepted the cell without fault codes and maintained voltage stability under load.
On first use, run one complete discharge-charge cycle without fast charging to let the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against this cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Siemens SX1 / SX1 McLaren — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (EBA-540)

This is a 3.7V, 1200mAh Li-ion replacement battery for the Siemens SX1 and SX1 McLaren smartphones. It replaces OEM part numbers EBA-540, N6501-A100, and V30145-K1310-X260. When the original cell degrades and can no longer hold a stable charge, this unit restores power to both SX1 variants.

  • SX1 and SX1 McLaren compatibility: Both handsets share the same physical bay, connector pinout, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail. The BMS communication protocol is identical across the two variants, so one cell covers both without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the SX1 platform and monitored the BMS handshake at each stage. The protection circuit triggered correctly at low-voltage cutoff, and charge acceptance was stable across multiple cycles.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable any fast-charge accessory and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle. This lets the SX1's fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before reporting percentage — skipping this step often causes erratic readings on the status bar.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the SX1 after a cell swap

The SX1's fuel gauge IC retains the discharge curve from the old, degraded cell. When a fresh cell is installed, the IC's stored curve no longer matches actual cell voltage under load. The modem and display draw combined pull voltage down faster than the IC predicts, triggering a hard shutdown before the displayed percentage reaches zero. One full discharge-charge cycle forces the coulomb counter to rebuild its reference against the new cell, and the shutdowns stop.

SX1 showing 100% immediately after install, then dropping fast

This is the fuel gauge IC reading from its last calibration point rather than the actual cell state. The IC was tuned to a worn cell with lower capacity, so it maps 1200mAh as "full" incorrectly and overshoots early. The fix is a single uninterrupted charge from under 5% to a full charge with the phone off or on standby — no calls or data sessions during that cycle. After one clean cycle, the displayed percentage should track actual capacity without sudden drops.

Frequently Asked Questions

My SX1 powers off randomly around 25% — is that a fault with this replacement cell?

It is not a cell fault. The SX1's fuel gauge IC was calibrated to the old degraded cell and its voltage curve no longer matches the new 1200mAh unit. Under combined modem and screen load, the phone hits a voltage floor the IC did not predict and shuts down. Run one full uninterrupted discharge down to auto-shutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption — after that cycle the coulomb counter recalibrates and the random cutoffs stop.

The SX1 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat unused in a drawer for months — what happened?

The cell self-discharged below the BMS lockout threshold, typically under 2.5V per cell. At that voltage the protection circuit cuts output to prevent damage, and the phone sees no power at all. Connect the phone to a low-current charger — ideally the original wall adapter, not a fast-charge unit — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. Most BMS circuits recover once input voltage pushes the cell back above 2.8V, at which point the phone will show a charging indicator and power on normally.

The SX1 feels warm near the battery compartment during the first charge — is something wrong?

A new high-impedance cell has slightly higher internal resistance than a worn-in one, so the charge IC dissipates more heat during the first few cycles. This is normal and reduces after two or three full cycles as the cell's internal resistance settles. If the phone stays warm past the first cycle or feels hot rather than warm, disconnect it and check that the back cover is seated flat — a poorly seated cover traps heat against the charge IC. By the third charge cycle, warmth during charging should be barely noticeable.
