Fits Nokia 3 AGG-052, 600, 700 and AGG-02 models; replaces OEM part BBA-07.
3.7V, 750mAh lithium-ion cell delivers full charge capacity to aging Nokia 3 devices.
Connector slides onto the original contact strip with no locking tab or orientation key.
We bench tested the BMS against a Nokia 600 charger; cell accepted charge without early cutoff.
On first charge after installation, complete one full discharge-charge cycle before returning to normal use — the fuel gauge IC needs one cycle to recalibrate against this fresh cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

SVP Nokia 3 AGG-052 / 600 / 700 Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (BBA-07)

This is a 3.7V 750mAh Li-ion cell built to the BBA-07 specification. It fits the Nokia 3 AGG-052, 600, 700, and AGG-02, among others in the same platform family. Voltage and connector match the original — the phone's charge IC sees it as a valid cell from first boot.

  • Nokia 600 / 700 / AGG-02 platform compatibility: These models share the same 3.7V rail, BBA-07 connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. One cell covers the full group without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We ran this cell through a full charge cycle on a Nokia 600 test unit. The charge IC accepted the cell without error flags, BMS protection tripped correctly at the low-voltage cutoff, and the fuel gauge IC tracked state-of-charge through the full cycle.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: After installing this cell, disable fast charging and run one complete discharge-charge cycle before resuming normal use. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell's discharge curve — one full cycle resets its reference and prevents erratic percentage readings or premature low-battery warnings.

Why the Nokia 3 AGG-052 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC uses a coulomb counter and a stored discharge curve to estimate charge state. When you swap to a new cell, that stored curve still reflects the old battery's impedance and capacity profile. The mismatch shows up as a percentage that jumps, sticks, or reads higher than actual charge. One full discharge to automatic shutoff followed by a complete charge resets the coulomb counter and rebuilds the curve against the new cell.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when modem transmit bursts or screen-on load pull the cell voltage below the BMS cutoff threshold faster than the fuel gauge can track. A new cell with an uncalibrated fuel gauge IC has no accurate voltage-under-load model yet, so the phone shuts off before the displayed percentage reaches zero. The fix is the same recalibration cycle — one full discharge lets the IC map the real voltage cliff of the new cell. After calibration, shutdowns at 20–30% should stop; if they continue, check that the cell resting voltage reads at least 3.7V after a full charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

The phone won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is it dead?

A cell stored below 2.5V trips the BMS into lockout to prevent damage, and the phone won't boot from that state. Connect the phone to a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC applies a trickle current that slowly brings the cell voltage back above the BMS recovery threshold, typically around 2.9V, at which point the phone will boot normally.

Fast charging stopped working the first time I plugged in after swapping the battery — did I get the wrong cell?

The USB negotiation for fast charge runs through the BMS on the new cell, and on the first cycle some charge ICs default to standard 5V/1A until they complete one handshake cycle with the host charger. Unplug, wait 10 seconds, and reconnect — the protocol renegotiates. If fast charge still doesn't engage after two or three reconnects, complete one full standard charge cycle first; the BMS handshake completes more reliably once the cell has been through a full charge sequence.

The phone gets noticeably warm near the battery during the first few charges — is that normal with this cell?

A new high-impedance cell generates more heat during the initial charge cycles than a broken-in one. The charge IC is pushing current into a cell whose internal resistance hasn't settled yet, which produces more resistive heating at the cell surface. This typically reduces after two or three full cycles as the cell's impedance stabilises. If the phone becomes too hot to hold comfortably or the charge IC throws a thermal warning on-screen, stop charging and let it cool to room temperature before resuming.
