Fits BLU Charleston, Click, Click Lite, Deco Mini and 12 additional models using OEM part numbers C4C08T, C4C50T, C4C60T, or C4C85T.
Cell delivers 3.7V and 750mAh capacity — restores full charge cycles on devices that no longer hold power after original battery degradation.
Connector orientation and locking tab match OEM spec; physical dimensions 53.00 x 34.00 x 4.80mm seat flush in the battery compartment.
We bench tested this lithium-ion cell against the original Charleston unit; BMS accepted charge current without cutoff and sustained voltage under load draw.
On first use after installation, complete one full discharge-charge cycle without fast charging — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

BLU Charleston / Click Series — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery (C4C08T)

This is a 3.7V, 750mAh Li-ion cell that replaces the original battery in BLU Charleston, Click, Click Lite, Deco Mini, and related models. It fits phones using OEM part numbers C4C08T, C4C50T, C4C60T, and C4C85T. Physical dimensions are 53.00 × 34.00 × 4.80mm — measure your existing cell before installing.

  • Charleston and Click series fit: These models share the same removable cell format, connector tab position, and 3.7V nominal voltage rail. The BMS on each device accepts this cell's charge profile without modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on BLU series hardware. The BMS accepted the new cell without error flags, and charge termination cut off cleanly at the correct upper threshold.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration after swap: On first use after installation, run one full discharge down to auto-shutoff, then charge to 100% uninterrupted. This lets the fuel gauge IC map its reference curve to the new cell before reporting percentage to the OS.

Why the BLU Charleston reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The fuel gauge IC in these phones stores a learned discharge curve from the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches actual cell behaviour, so the reported percentage drifts — often reading high and then dropping sharply. The IC needs at least one uninterrupted full cycle to recalibrate its coulomb counter against the new cell's discharge profile. Until that cycle completes, percentage readings are unreliable. Run the phone to auto-shutoff, then charge to 100% without interruption to reset the baseline.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the replacement cell

This happens when the modem or display draws a current spike the cell cannot sustain at that state of charge — voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold even though the gauge still shows charge remaining. It is a calibration issue, not a faulty cell. The fuel gauge IC is cutting power based on a voltage cliff it was not expecting at that percentage. Complete two full discharge-charge cycles and verify the phone shuts down only near 3.0V under load.

Frequently Asked Questions

My BLU Click won't turn on at all after sitting in a drawer for months — is the battery dead?

Likely not dead, but the BMS has locked the cell out after voltage dropped below 2.5V during storage. Plug into a wall charger — not a PC USB port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes before pressing power. The charge IC needs a trickle current phase to bring the cell back above the BMS unlock threshold before normal charging can start. If the charge indicator light comes on, let it complete a full cycle before judging the cell.

The phone feels warm near the battery while charging right after I installed the new cell — is that normal?

Yes, for the first one or two cycles. A new cell has higher internal impedance than a broken-in one, so the charge IC dissipates more heat as it pushes current into the cell. The warmth should reduce noticeably after two full charge cycles as impedance settles. If the phone stays hot to the touch or the back becomes uncomfortable to hold after three cycles, check that the battery contacts are fully seated and no debris is under the cell.

The percentage on my BLU Charleston jumps around erratically — it was at 60%, then skipped to 35% in seconds.

The fuel gauge IC is working off a discharge curve calibrated to the old, degraded cell — the new cell's voltage-to-capacity relationship is different, so the IC misreads state of charge. Run the phone down to auto-shutoff without interrupting, then charge fully to 100% in one session. That single complete cycle gives the coulomb counter enough data to re-anchor its reference points. After two full cycles the percentage reading should stabilise.
