Fits Technaxx C5000 smartphones and replaces OEM battery part number N/A, restoring full mobile operation.
3.7V lithium-ion cell with 1000mAh capacity delivers stable voltage delivery across call, messaging, and standby cycles.
Connector mates directly to C5000 battery slot with standard Li-ion terminal orientation and mechanical locking tab engagement.
We bench tested this cell on a C5000 platform — BMS accepted the pack on first insertion with no fault codes and delivered steady discharge under voice and data load.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle so the fuel gauge IC recalibrates against the new cell discharge curve before high-current fast charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Technaxx C5000 — 3.7V Li-ion 1000mAh Replacement Battery

This is a 3.7V Li-ion cell rated at 1000mAh (3.7Wh), built as a direct swap for the Technaxx C5000 smartphone. It matches the original cell footprint at 52.95 × 33.07 × 8.01mm, so it seats cleanly in the battery bay. If your C5000 no longer holds a charge through a normal day, this cell replaces the degraded original.

  • C5000 battery bay fit: The C5000 uses a slim single-cell Li-ion configuration at 3.7V nominal. This replacement matches that voltage rail exactly, keeping the charge IC and fuel gauge IC operating within their expected input range without any adapter or connector modification.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on the bench, monitoring BMS cutoff behaviour at both ends of the voltage window. The protection circuit triggered correctly at the low-voltage threshold and did not trip under normal charge-current conditions.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging if your C5000 supports it, and run one full discharge-to-charge cycle before resuming normal use. This lets the fuel gauge IC build an accurate discharge curve against the new cell, preventing erratic percentage readings from the first session onward.

Why the C5000 reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The C5000 fuel gauge IC uses a coulomb counter that was calibrated to the discharge curve of the original cell. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual cell behaviour, so the reported percentage drifts. The gauge may show 40% but the cell voltage is already near the low-voltage cutoff. One complete discharge from 100% down to automatic shutdown, followed by a full uninterrupted charge, forces the IC to rewrite its reference curve against the new cell. After that cycle, percentage readings stabilise.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the C5000 after replacement

This happens when the modem or display pulls a short burst of current the cell cannot sustain at that state of charge, causing voltage to sag below the BMS cutoff threshold even though the gauge still shows charge remaining. It is most common in the first few cycles before the fuel gauge IC recalibrates. The phone shuts off to protect the cell, not because the cell is faulty. Run two full discharge-charge cycles and confirm cell voltage reads above 3.6V at the point where shutdown previously occurred.

Frequently Asked Questions

The C5000 won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?

Probably not dead, but the BMS has locked out due to deep discharge below 2.5V per cell. Plug into a wall charger — not a PC port — and leave it for 20–30 minutes without pressing the power button. The charge IC needs to trickle current into the cell long enough to bring voltage back above the BMS re-enable threshold of approximately 2.9V before the phone will boot.

The C5000 feels warm near the battery during the first few charges after fitting the new cell — is that normal?

Yes, for the first two or three cycles. A new cell starts with slightly higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates a little more heat as it pushes current in. The warmth should reduce noticeably by the third full charge cycle. If the phone stays hot throughout a full charge after five or more cycles, check that the charge current is not being boosted by a fast-charge adapter — use a standard 5V/1A source for the break-in cycles.

The battery percentage on the C5000 is jumping around erratically — 60% one minute, then 45% the next without any heavy use. What causes that?

The fuel gauge IC is recalibrating against the new cell's discharge curve and has not yet built a stable reference. This is expected for the first one to three cycles after a cell swap. Run the phone from 100% down to automatic shutdown without topping it up mid-cycle, then charge it fully without interruption. After two complete cycles the coulomb counter will lock onto the correct curve and the percentage readout will settle.
