Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

USCellular SCH-LC11 / SCH-I100 Geen — 3.7V Li-ion Replacement Battery
This 3.7V, 1750mAh Li-ion cell replaces the original battery in the Samsung SCH-LC11, SCH-LC11R, SCH-I100 Geen, and Geen variants. It fits the same battery bay and connector as the OEM unit. Capacity is rated at 6.48Wh, matching the original cell's energy spec.
- SCH-LC11 and SCH-I100 Geen platform: Both variants run the same 3.7V nominal voltage rail and share an identical connector footprint and BMS handshake protocol, which is why one cell covers the full model group.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through charge and discharge on SCH-LC11 hardware. The BMS accepted the charge handshake without rejection, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff — no runaway, no false shutdown at full state of charge.
- Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, run one complete discharge-charge cycle with fast charging disabled. This lets the fuel gauge IC map the new cell's discharge curve before the charge IC pushes higher current into an uncalibrated cell.
Sudden shutdown at 20–30% on the SCH-LC11 after a cell swap
The SCH-LC11's modem and display draw sharp current spikes that expose a steep voltage cliff in any new Li-ion cell before it's been cycled. If the cell voltage drops below the BMS cutoff threshold under that load — even briefly — the phone powers off regardless of the percentage shown on screen. The fuel gauge IC is still reading from its old calibration table, so the displayed percentage is not accurate until the new cell's curve is mapped. Run one full discharge to near-zero, then charge to 100% without interruption to anchor the calibration.
OS reporting wrong battery percentage after installing this cell
The coulomb counter inside the SCH-LC11 builds its percentage model against the original cell's capacity and impedance curve. A new 1750mAh cell with different internal impedance throws that model off immediately, producing percentage jumps, stalls at certain levels, or readings that don't match actual remaining charge. This isn't a fault in the replacement cell — it's the fuel gauge IC recalibrating. One full discharge-charge cycle corrects it. If the percentage still behaves erratically after two cycles, check that the battery contacts on the device are clean and making full contact.

Frequently Asked Questions
My SCH-LC11 powers off suddenly at around 25% — is something wrong with the replacement cell?
This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity defect. Under the combined load of the modem radio and screen, the new cell's voltage momentarily dips below the BMS cutoff threshold — the phone interprets that as a dead battery and shuts down. The fuel gauge IC is still calibrated to the old cell, so the percentage on screen isn't accurate yet. Run one full discharge to near-zero followed by an uninterrupted charge to 100%, and the shutdowns should stop.
The SCH-LC11 won't power on at all after the replacement battery sat in storage for a few months — what happened?
Li-ion cells self-discharge in storage. If the cell dropped below roughly 2.5V, the BMS enters a lockout state to prevent damage and the phone won't respond to a power button press. Plug the phone into a wall charger — not a USB port — and leave it connected for 20–30 minutes without pressing anything. The charge IC will trickle-charge the cell above the BMS recovery threshold, after which the phone should boot normally.
The phone feels warm near the battery during the first few charges after swapping the cell — is that normal?
Yes, for the first two or three cycles. A new Li-ion cell starts with higher internal impedance than a broken-in cell, so the charge IC dissipates more energy as heat while current flows into it. Warmth — not heat you can't hold your hand against — is expected. If the device becomes too hot to hold or charging stops before 100% on the first cycle, remove the battery and check that it's seated flat with no edge pressure on the contacts, then retry.
