Shipping calculated at checkout.
Fits Vivo V21e, V21e 5G, V2055 smartphones; replaces OEM part B-Q6.
3.87V and 3900mAh capacity deliver full-day runtime on this Li-Polymer cell.
Connector slides into the original slot with no tab modifications needed.
We bench-tested this pack through 10 full discharge cycles; BMS accepted charge without fault codes.
On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle — this lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell discharge curve before high-current fast charging resumes.

Battery Care Tips

🔹 Getting Started

Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.

🔹 Keep It Healthy

Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.

Delivery and Shipping

🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Vivo V21e Series — 3.87V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (B-Q6)

This is a 3.87V, 3900mAh Li-Polymer replacement battery for the Vivo V21e, V21e 5G, and V2055 smartphones. Part number B-Q6 matches the OEM specification for these models. It restores power to a device that no longer holds charge or shuts down unexpectedly.

  • V21e, V21e 5G, and V2055 compatibility: These three models share the same battery bay geometry, connector pinout, and BMS handshake protocol. The B-Q6 cell works across all three without modification — the fuel gauge IC on each recognises the same charge curve.
  • Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell through full charge and discharge on a V21e unit. The BMS accepted the cell without rejection flags, and the charge IC transitioned correctly from CC to CV phase at 4.40V cutoff.
  • Fuel gauge recalibration on first use: On first use after installation, disable fast charging for one complete discharge-charge cycle. This lets the fuel gauge IC recalibrate against the new cell's discharge curve before high-current charging pushes current into an uncalibrated cell.

Why the V21e reports wrong battery percentage after a cell swap

The V21e uses a coulomb-counter fuel gauge IC that stores the discharge curve of the original cell in memory. When a new cell goes in, that stored curve no longer matches the actual cell chemistry. The gauge reads the wrong state of charge because it is still calculating against old data. One full discharge to 5% and a complete charge to 100% with fast charging off forces the IC to relearn the new cell's curve and restore accurate percentage reporting.

Sudden shutdown at 20–30% charge remaining on the replacement cell

This is a voltage cliff issue, not a capacity problem. When the modem, display, or a background process draws a high current, the cell voltage briefly drops below the BMS cutoff threshold — even though the reported percentage looks safe. On a new, uncalibrated cell this happens more often because the fuel gauge IC overestimates remaining charge. Run one full calibration cycle first. If shutdowns continue after calibration, check that the battery connector is fully seated, as a loose pin increases contact resistance and worsens voltage sag under load.

Frequently Asked Questions

My Vivo V21e won't turn on at all after the replacement battery sat in a drawer for a few months — is the cell dead?

The BMS locks out when cell voltage drops below approximately 2.5V during storage, which is a protection cutoff, not permanent cell failure. Connect the phone to a charger and leave it for 15–20 minutes without pressing the power button — the charge IC needs time to trickle current into the cell before the BMS releases the lockout. Once voltage recovers above 3.0V, the phone will boot normally. If there is no charge indicator after 30 minutes, check the charging cable and port before concluding the cell is faulty.

Fast charging stopped working after I fitted the B-Q6 — the phone only charges slowly now?

On the first charge cycle after a cell swap, the V21e's charge IC sometimes defaults to standard current until it completes one full charge handshake with the new BMS. This is normal. Let the phone charge to 100% on a slow charge first, then reboot, and reconnect the original fast charger — the proprietary protocol negotiation should complete correctly on the second session. If fast charging still does not activate, confirm you are using a Vivo-certified adapter, as third-party chargers often fail the voltage handshake entirely.

The battery percentage on my V21e keeps jumping around erratically — it went from 45% to 62% without charging?

Erratic percentage jumps are a fuel gauge IC recalibration symptom, not a fault with the cell itself. The IC is still mapping the new cell's discharge curve and is making corrections as it collects more data. Run two full discharge-charge cycles with fast charging disabled — discharge to around 5%, then charge uninterrupted to 100% each time. After two clean cycles the coulomb counter stabilises and percentage reporting becomes consistent.
