Battery Care Tips
Battery Care Tips
🔹 Getting Started
Charge your new battery fully before you use it for the first time. Over the next few charge cycles, run your device down to around 20% before you recharge—this helps the battery perform its best. After that, charge whenever you need to.
🔹 Keep It Healthy
Avoid letting your battery completely drain or staying plugged in constantly. Both extremes wear it out faster. Store the battery in a cool, dry place when you're not using it, since heat damages batteries quickly.
Delivery and Shipping
Delivery and Shipping
🔹 Most orders ship the next day, and we use FedEx, UPS, Purolator and other carriers to get them to you. Lithium batteries have to ship by ground only, not air or USPS. Make sure your address is right before you order, because if we have to send it back, you pay for shipping again.

Asus ROG Flow Z13 GZ301 Series — 15.52V Li-Polymer Replacement Battery (C41N2102)
This is a 15.52V, 3510mAh (54.48Wh) Li-Polymer battery for the Asus ROG Flow Z13 2-in-1 gaming laptop. It fits the GZ301, NR2201, and NR2201ZE families and matches the OEM part numbers C41N2102 and 0B200-04100000. Verify your model number on the underside of the unit before ordering.
- GZ301 and NR2201 platform fitment: These models share the same 15.52V four-cell Li-Polymer architecture, the same board-side connector, and the same BMS handshake protocol — which is why one cell serves the entire GZ301 and NR2201 line.
- Bench tested on actual hardware: We cycled this cell on a GZ301ZM under sustained gaming load. The BMS held charge acceptance cleanly, thermal sensors reported within spec, and the protection circuit tripped correctly at low-voltage cutoff without nuisance shutdowns.
- Post-install BIOS recalibration: After fitting, run the laptop down to hibernate-cutoff under load — not screen-off idle — then charge uninterrupted to 100%. This forces the fuel gauge IC to map its capacity curve against the new cell and clears the inaccurate health warning the BIOS throws after every cell swap.
Why the ROG Flow Z13 shuts down at 20–30% remaining after a battery swap
The Z13's fuel gauge IC retains learned discharge curves from the old, degraded cell. When a new cell is installed, the IC maps fresh voltage against stale data — so it reads 25% when the actual state of charge is much higher, then hits its cutoff threshold prematurely. The fix is a full learn cycle: discharge under CPU and display load to hibernate, then charge to 100% without interruption. After two or three cycles the fuel gauge re-aligns and the premature shutdowns stop.
BIOS reporting battery health as "poor" or "replace" immediately after fitting a new cell
The Z13 BIOS reads health data from the cell's EEPROM, which stores cycle count, rated Wh, and condition flags. A brand-new cell has a fresh EEPROM — the BIOS interprets unfamiliar data as an unknown or degraded source and flags it accordingly. This is a data-handshake issue, not a fault with the replacement cell. Run one full discharge-to-hibernate and uninterrupted charge-to-100% cycle; most GZ301 units clear the warning after the first completed learn cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions
The ROG Flow Z13 shows a wildly wrong battery percentage for the first few charges after swapping the cell — is something broken?
Nothing is broken. The fuel gauge IC on the Z13 mainboard calibrates its capacity model against discharge data from the old cell. With a new cell installed, the IC has no accurate curve to work from and guesses — badly — for the first few cycles. Run two full discharge-to-hibernate cycles under real load (gaming or sustained CPU use, not idle) followed by uninterrupted charges to 100%. By the third cycle the percentage readings stabilise.
Windows shows the new battery's Wh rating as lower than the spec — MyASUS reports something like 48Wh instead of 54.48Wh. Why?
The Wh figure Windows and MyASUS display is pulled from the cell's EEPROM, which reports the design capacity at a conservative factory-rated threshold, not the full electrochemical capacity of the new chemistry. The actual usable energy the cell delivers matches the 54.48Wh spec — the discrepancy is a reporting artefact between EEPROM-stored rated value and real cell capacity. No action is needed; the figure normalises after a full learn cycle.
The Z13 stops charging at 80% and won't go higher after fitting the replacement battery — is the cell faulty?
This is almost always a BIOS charge-limit setting, not a fault with the replacement cell. Asus ROG laptops ship with a Battery Care Mode (sometimes called Eco Charging) enabled by default in Armoury Crate, which caps charging at 80% to reduce long-term cell stress. Open Armoury Crate, go to System Configuration, find Battery Care Mode, and switch it to Full Capacity mode. The battery will then charge to 100%.
